Still waiting on that Wu-Block project. Everything I have heard between the two suggests it's well worth the time.

With the momentum these guys have and Em's backing, you can't blame the levels of expectation over their upcoming album. I do hope the album has a variety of producers (not just Em), since they've shown they're versatile enough with their various freestyles.

Not much news about this project, even though it drops on Tuesday.

Have heard so little about this that the drop date completely slipped my mind.
Do you have a link so I can download it?

I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet and I missed those Mood Muzik Budden shows because I had Jury Duty early the next morning (not sure if I would have even went). I've actually be listening to a bunch of old Joell stuff and I'm pretty happy with the most recent Slaughterhouse releases. I know I asked you to rate the verses from "Monsters in my Head" the other day, but now I'd like to know how you rate the individuals in the group.

Mine would go something like this...

Budden/Joell (I can't really say one is better than the other)
Crooked I
Royce

I just feel like Royce can be hit or miss and at times I feel the same way about Crooked. While I love Budden because of his wordplay and wittiness, I actually think Joell when hungry is a monster (he reminds me of what old school rappers were all about), he just loves to rap and he does it so well.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner.

It's a tough one, so I figured I would break it down between their solo work and their overall place in the group. I'd go this:

Solo:
Budden
Royce
Joell
Crooked

Slaughterhouse:
Crooked
Joell
Royce
Budden

I think Crooked feeds off the competition best, but his solo work is pretty average whereas Budden's best in his zone on a solo track. I think Budden has shown on posse cuts with other artists that he can handle it, but I think he's exposed a little too much here. Ortiz has crazy mic presence and that's why I put him above Royce in the group (most inconsistent, but has a pretty good ceiling). I like how you rate Ortiz though; we do agree on that much.

Glad this finally came out the other day. I'd recommend anyone to grab this. Not as good as "Returnof4eva" (no shame in that), but it's still a great drop.

Next up, the album.

Typical Large Pro beat. I'd be interested to see what these guys can do on an album. Competition for Slaughterhouse?

Also, Mega and Large Pro are working on a collabo album at the moment.

Chamillionaire's remixes

Sounds a little roboty like to me, but he does quite well with these remixes..
