I have a feeling that we'll pursue Giuseppe Rossi again this summer, and this time sign him. What are your guys thoughts on him and he'll fit in our team?

This. In my opinion Rossi is overrated as feck. He would cost us 30-40 m.

Worth it? Absolutely not.

I'd reather have Giovinco for 5-10m.

Definitely overrated and not worth the market price... I dont like his consistency to begin with, especially after coming back from injury....

I agree he was never worth that much to begin with. I'd be all for Dzeko if we could pull it off. The way things paneled out i'm upset we didn't go for him over Krasic. But I'll admit at the time I wanted Krasic more as well.

i was never really excited about him, he had one great season (last year) and his market price went sky high...he's already 25, chances of him reaching a WC level are slim at the best and he isn't the kind of gamebreaker we need as we have giovinco for 6-7 mill's. Honestly i'd go for Higuain as he doesn't seem to be a starter this season in Madrid and for some reason Mourinho prefers Benz over him even though Higuain scored more from the bench than what Benz has scored while he starts and he'd probably be available for 25 mil's tops...

I hope we stay away from him.

That being said, I think Conte would improve his game a lot tbh...

FFS guys Sir Alex knows a good striker when he sees him Rossi is def WC no matter the injury or anything else he is a born striker and a very elegant one

Alex has always had some very skillfull attackers and he once said one of his biggest regrets was letting go of Rossi anyways i sure see him as pure class and u all will see his potential for azzuri in the future.

Im not so sure he is coming to juve unless he is cheap as in 20 million

Rossi is an insanely overrated player, made to look good by a truly great player in Santi Cazorla......

Nowhere near good enough for Juve.....

If you want an SS, then Jovetic is your man.

Sure 25 the most but i think we can get him for 20 easily and that means a Higuain or other type could come as well.

Mou prefers Benz because he is more clinical, Higuain misses to damn much but other than that he is great dribbler and fast

Higuain is amazing...I reckon Torres in a change of surrounding could again be prolific :shisha:

Thats absolutely wrong.Higuain is definitely more clinical than Benzema ,atleast stats prove it but he has a tendency not to show up in big games.Though i agree Benzema is ahead of Higuain for RM cuz he is very technical and offers dynamism upfront.

However he isnt a realistic option ,he is like the future of RM.

I'd prefer Jovetic over all cuz i reckon we can get him for around 20m whereas players like Higuain and Rossi are expensive options.Especially paying 30m for Rossi is not worth it.Jovetic has got more potential as well.

Yeah he isnt but he is versatile isnt he ?He is an SS-CF hybrid in the mould of Quagliarella.

Now getting a pure CF means ,Matri would be resigned to the bench..Yeah he is not clinical but i think he has done more than enough to be called Juve's main striker ..0.5 goal average per game is not bad at all.Now the only CF i'd accept getting is Cavani cuz he is just not limited to being a poacher.

Jovetic would easily fit in a 3-5-2 behind the main striker or in 4-3-2-1 or even a 4-3-3..He is an extremely flexible player and add to that a very flexible Coach as well..

From a financial point of view and from the teams' requirement perspective this move makes all sense imo.More than any imo.

Jovetic would be a good signing but we need someone better than Matri if were to win trophies again! :shisha:
