I would take him in a blink of an eye. I've calling for his singing in the Liverpool section for God knows how long.

I'm not sure if he's back from injury or not, or whether he's performing etc, but I think he needs to show in the Segunda Division he's near/back at the level he was before he got injured.

He's not back. He won't play until late-Feb or early-March. And unless Villarreal get promoted, I don't see him staying (even if they do get promoted I think he'll leave). Would love for us to sign him in the winter window since he'll be cheap.

Would've loved to have him in Milan pre-injury, but i don't know anymore. He might have regressed or he might be another Pato

Hard to tell honestly.

We won't really know until we've seen him after those first 5 games or so back from the injury.

People thought Jack Wilshere may have regressed after his lengthy spell out, but the lad is doing just fine.

I also think Stu Holden will do just fine as well after he returns from injury. What's important for Rossi is that he keep things simple and stay positive, the injury will only defeat him if he (not us or anyone else) thinks he'll never get back to where he was.

Agreed Thumbs up
Just hope he might recover and regain his form in time for 2014 WC, he was amazing in the qualifiers.

I am personally indifferent to him (Red flat out hates him) given the manner of how he chose Italy over USA, but as a player he's quite amazing.

It's very clear that he will not be with Villarreal long after he recovers, but he will need those games, even at that level, in order to find himself again. Better players have come back from worse injuries after all.

I think it's a low risk transfer for a club to make because the cost would be relatively low and the reward could be high if he does find that form

But after consecutive knee injuries I find it unlikely that he will return to form but only time will tell since he is relatively young

Very Happy i think Roma should take that Risk because Roma at least get into EL competition they need 4 starting quality strikers and i don't see Totti be able to play in 3 different competition duo to his age

Would love him at Roma. I like Roma and I like Rossi, so perfect match for me personally if Liverpool can't get him.

I hope Fiorentina don't rush his comeback. I would let him come back next season over rushing him back this season. Usually extended lay off and serious strenght training and a slow integration back into the starting lineup is what works best.

Has looked excellent in pre-season and looks fully recovered so far. Pacy, intelligent movement and smart finishing. Early signs that Fiorentina's gamble may have paid off.

Prandelli said that he didn't want to call him so that he doesn't hinder anything or so i heard. But he made it clear that he won't rule out Rossi out of the WC squad

Im happy for Giu too but lets not act like he destroyed Juve.

He was Invisible until he took the penalty to make it 2-1, scored a goal outside the box hit with no real power that by Buffons standards he should have saved and finished off a swift counter attack that he really couldnt miss.

Sounds like im butthurt lol but seriously dont think he was THAT impressive yesterday, clinical would be the word id use to describe him, but welldone to him anyway.
