Myspace: Finally dead?
I just logged on to my Myspace for the first time in two years, and......wow
I felt like Alice at the end of the RE1 film, leaving the hospital and walking into a post-apocalyptic city
Aside from the dozen or so messages from shitty bands begging me to befriend them, most of my friends had all but deleted their profiles and those that didn't had taken all their pics and info down. The music i had linked to my page had long since been obliterated and the HTML for my background didn't work anymore
The last message on my wall was from my best friend three years ago......telling me he hadn't commented on my profile in a while
Is Myspace well and truly finished?

Re: Myspace: Finally dead?
Should be. It was pretty much destined for fiery death as soon as Facebook was launched.
Myspacemusic? Who cares when you have Youtube.

Re: Myspace: Finally dead?
Dead as dead can be. Like Sushi said, Facebook killed it. I haven't even visited that site in like 4 years.
I remember back in 2002/03, this was the most popular site on the net. Every popular artist at the time was like "check me on Myspace.." Now, no one mentions it.

Re: Myspace: Finally dead?
Myspace is dead to anyone who isn't into indy/free music because it's not a social networking site à la Facebook.
Which is a lot of people. I found so many good bands on myspace =D
