Why would a club ever do that :lol!:

Did Liverpool have to permit it though? I would think the parent club is the only one that has a right to loan their player.

This is just a guess, but I think that Atletico took him on loan with an option to buy, and then sent him to Rayo to see if he would do well in the league with regular playing time. It doesn't seem like he's impressed.

Performances drive reputation, though. If Falcao keeps up his great scoring record, why would he be any less of a star in Madrid?

Also Kun was already a star by the time he went to Atletico. I think his transfer from Independiente to Atletico shattered some form of record. As a 19 year old he already went for 19M euros. He is the biggest talent to come out of primera for many years.
