Who did you choose as Male Shepard?

Yeah the game was super clear about what you got to do. Only way to make it more obvious would have been a list with "stuff to do to avoid squad members dying" lmao.
you also had to pick certain squad members for certain jobs and loyalty came into play so it wasn't as clear cut as just upgrading a couple of things on the ship.
Yeah I know but it wasn't really hard to pick the right choices as the roles are pretty much clear cut.
Only problem is saving the whole Normandy crew when playing for the first time imo.
Well, some of us are obviously a little more eager to save the galaxy and don't have the patience to sit there and think when trillions of life forms are in danger.

That feeling of shit just got real when you hear the words "assuming direct control"
Instead the final boss in ME3 is a *bleep* turian husk iirc
Thanks for the laugh.

The planet viability, setting up outposts thingy is taken straight out of Inquisition.

On to ME3 now. Finished my 2nd playthrough without romancing anyone. Yay me.

Gameplay much better so far. So happy there's none of that hacking anymore. Was way too easy and the same all the time.

Don't why people watch these long 20+min videos, its just too much exposure, you're just spoiling it for yourself, same reason why i don't like watching trailers

Re: Mass Effect Thread
Trailers are fine for the most part imo, I don't think a trailer has ever ruined my experience of the game.
I agree on big gameplay videos though.

This game feels like a mix of ME 1, ME 2 and Inquisition.

Re: Mass Effect Thread
What is that ending
I loved this game so f'ing much... Until the ending which left all choices up to that point pointless

Re: Mass Effect Thread
I have an Xbone/PS4/PC and i'm not sure which one i should get it for, i kinda want to get it on the Xbone since i've played the original on it + its been gathering dust for 2 years but i don't to play this in 900p lol. PS4 and PC, not sure if my PC can run it max settings atm, might get it on the PS4 if thats the case. But if i'm gonna play on PS4 why not 4k right? Certainly not gonna get a PS4 Pro, but try it on PC? idk, just a dilemma

Re: Mass Effect Thread
If your PC can run it fair near to max, then get it there imo, no contest.
Don't see the point of playing it on 480p on the Xbox One, especially when you can't import saves any way. I played DA Origins on PC, DA2 on YouTube and Inquisition on PS4. Used the Dragon Age Keep for importing my decisions. So even if choices from previous games matter, Bioware has something for you to decide them again 100%.
Who am I kidding tho, you'll buy the PS4 Pro next week.

I don't think there's anything they could put out in the trailers that would put me off from getting it.

Re: Mass Effect Thread
I knew about the Rock Paper Shotgun preview so that doesn't concern me.
That Forbes is unreal clickbait though, the only thing they mention is the aforementioned RPS preview and the IGN video which they were very positive about outside the performance stuff and they stated it might be fix because it's a preview build.
I was legit concerned because most of the Previews from a few weeks were legitimately positive.
You made me worried RG ffs.
