African Cup of Nations is going to kill Newcastle.

We are only missing Ba and Tiote. Pappis is a new signing
Guthrie and Best can handle.
They have prove their worth against QPR and Blackburn, soon Cissokho will join to ease the burden.
Re: Newcastle will be on top of Liverpool throughout 2012-13.
Ba your best finisher.
PaPISS (I'll help you make it catch on Arq ) next best striker.
Going to be hard to dominate a midfielder without a defensive mid.
Best isn't that great imo. Guthrie still young, but defnitely can't replace Tiote.

Not so sure about that ynwa.......
We have decent reserves and the fixture list is kind........
Fulham, Blackburn, Villa and Spurs( during AFCON)
Maybe with a bit of luck Cisse, Tiote and Ba will be back before the Spurs game.

Well, that's quite easy then.
Could see you dropping six points from those 4 though. Fulham away is no walkthrough. Jol has done well there. Want you to beat Spurs, but just don't see it. They have arguably the best midfield in the league, and without Tiote, could see you dropping points. :\

I'm only worried about Spurs, best and Guthrie have all the pressure on them to deliver and prove their worth. So I am sure we have this to our advantage and Pardew will ensure to use this and bring the best out of them, we also have Jonas who is highly under-rated.
Gosling can also do his thing.

They are all winnable game's in my view apart from the Tottenham game and as i said that takes place right at the end of AFCON so its possible we might have them back......
Expect us to beat Blackburn and Villa tbh and the Fulham game is a toss up i think we can win but tbh from the next 4 games id take 2 wins 1 draw and a loss right now.

Tbf to Fulham, they did the impossible and lost 3-1 to a 10 men Blackburn
It pisses me off how easily we beat all Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle, yet are 1 behind behind the last 2.......

I'm expecting 3 wins and a draw. At worst, 2 wins and 2 draws.
Hoping for 3 win against the first 3 and a draw against Tottenham, like Mole said it depends on how far Senegal go in Nations Cup.

TBF Sepi we played like shite that night........
Compare the performances against you to the performance against Man Utd.
It's night and fcking day.
I genuinely believe we played history that night and not the team put infront of us.
I.E. looked at our record against you and paid far too much attention to it.

Yeah. Not being able to score at Anfield has killed us. >.>"
Doesn't help when people play with 10 men behind the ball, but need to start taking our chances. :S
And yeah, they lost to Blackburn.
They've done well against the top 6 clubs though.

So did we.
Had no Lucas, Suarez or Gerrard for 3/4 of the game. Gerrard's return is what made the game. XD

^
I think had you not scored the first goal, the game would have ended 0-0.
It's a weird trend by us.....against both you and Oldham we were utter turd before conceding, and all of a sudden turned into a different team after going down, and ended up winning both games.
I kind of hope Stoke had got an early goal vs us...it would have made us win the game

What's the matter with him, he's a young good 21years old player who knows his role.

You really need to see this guy in action. Almost as comical as Ryan Taylor.

Not saying you did'nt
I am just pissed off how we performed in that game we were extremely negative, Skrtel's clearance was the turning point IMO
Dat Clearance
Ryan Taylor is'nt a bad player btw he's just an awful fullback in midfield he actually is a decent player.

The same Ryan Taylor that featured in 3:0 demolition of Manchester United, 2 goals, 3 assist and 31 shot in 20 appearance is not a bad performance by a sub player, does Madrid have any bench defender that can deliver like that. :lucas:

Are you kidding me? Mole is this guy serious?
Ryan Taylor is a, well technically he was a fullback at Wigan who could play Midfield. His one shining quality is that he is decent from set-pieces. Are you really going to try and hit me with stats to cover his dire performances?
And yet again, you bring up Madrid. *sigh* Pathetic. Maybe you should tune into more Toon games before throwing stats and false observations out.

Re: Newcastle will be on top of Liverpool throughout 2012-13.
Man its the other way round, he's a midfielder that can play fullback(albeit not very well on the defensive side)
When ever he has played midfield for us, be it central midfield on the left or right he has done very well.......
He's actually very good technically as far as first touch, passing and crossing goes so it suits him.
He's a trash defender tho.

Re: Newcastle will be on top of Liverpool throughout 2012-13.
To begin with Ryan Taylor is our bench player, yet he has better Stats than most starters in epl.
The only problem is that his defensive quality ain't that good and he's not the tallest guy around, otherwise he's better than Hamit that started against Barcelona today.

Can you back up that first claim? Better stats than most EPL starters?
Also, Thanks for the correction Mole.

Re: Newcastle will be on top of Liverpool throughout 2012-13.
We missed Tiote and Demba badly, I expect the team to bounce.
The good news is that Liverpool are currently losing to Bolton who are 2nd to last in the table.
My apology to Juventus and Seria A fans
