Arsenal?
Has Wenger lost the plot?
Is this just the fact that Arsenal have 14 players out injured, including all full-backs?
Weak Mentality?
Is this even problematic moment for the gunners, or just a phase?
Thoughts?

Re: Arsenal?
The freak ass injuries don't help. What other teams suffers so many injuries, season after season? It's not a rough patch that can happen to anyone. It happens every frakking year.
I don't understand it, it's not like we play Barcelona midgets or something.
The guys off the bench were miles better than the starters, at least. But we still have shit, shit depth. When Wenger goes after a 30+ ex club legend you know you're in shit.

Re: Arsenal?
You only have the Arsenal board to blame.
If the board doesn't spend on some players in the next 15-16 days, then I cannot see Arsenal in the Top 4.
Don't blame Wenger, however, he has done an amazing job so far with whatever he has available to him.

Re: Arsenal?
Certain training regimens can leave a player physically tense in vital muscles which lead to injuries. Also poor recovery training after games leads to injuries over time.
Arsenal need to take a long hard look at the way the deal with these things. They have been doing a disgustingly bad job for years.

Re: Arsenal?
rubbish players playing rubbish
seriously who is a threat in our attack? RvP and sometimes Gervinho
Arshavin is mild, Walcott is progressively getting worse, Ramsey is more interested in trying flicks and the likes of Benayoun and Rosicky are always sat on the bench
our holding mid has the most assists yet he doesnt venture foward as much as he used to
we can be solid but attacking wise we offer little, we're struggling score goals which has been the story of the season
please God give us Wilshere back and please God show Wenger that the team we have now will not get top 4

Re: Arsenal?
Gonna have to agree. Although Wenger is notorious for rushing players in too quickly (Fabregas), it's not AT ALL normal to have half your squad injured year after year.Zealous wrote:Certain training regimens can leave a player physically tense in vital muscles which lead to injuries. The irony is that a state of the art medical center was just opened a few months ago on the training grounds.

Re: Arsenal?
In the second half, Swansea were brilliant in positioning, timing and movement. Arsenal made many bad decisions and were not patient in the first half. They were quite wasteful when in possession of the ball.

The problem lies in our midfield and attack..
Not good enough to keep possession and play our game..

Leon Britton - 165cm
Joe Allen - 168cm
2 tiny players keeping possession for Swansea in midfield

we have injuries at the back but the defensive line wasn't the problem today, it was our midfield/ wingers that gave no protection to the back four and kept on giving the ball away. do you understand?
