I've posted up the Arsenal goals. Not the best, but that's all we've got at the moment.

3 points in CC?
Btw, I hear Arshavin played behind the striker.. Was Benayoun on the other wing then? Interesting.. I definitely need to stay up and watch arsenal tv online repeat telecast of this match..

Apparently the first half wasn't so great, but the second half is worth watching.

Watching the game 'as live' right now...game just started.
Will judge players performances on this obviously...can't judge them by listening to radio.

Wenger: "Vermaelen will be a bit short for Saturday. It didn't look too bad but he came off with a slight calf problem."

Re: Arsenal 2 - 1 Bolton Wanderers: Park winner sees Arsenal through to last 8 for 9th consecutive time
So Vermaelen isn't injured - it's just muscle tiredness where he hasn't played..that's more reassuring. Sounds good for Marseille game.
Re: Arsenal 2 - 1 Bolton Wanderers: Park winner sees Arsenal through to last 8 for 9th consecutive time
I am so happy that we have finally gotten back on track and we have turned a corner. Look at our form for the last 8 games as proof:
W-W-W-L-W-W-W-W. With the only loss being against Tottens***

Re: Arsenal 2 - 1 Bolton Wanderers: Park winner sees Arsenal through to last 8 for 9th consecutive time
I've watched 60 minutes of the game and I was impressed by Andrey Arshavin and Ju-Young Park tonight. Arshavin played as the "no. 10" in behind Park and the two linked up well throughout the game.
Arsene Wenger said something interesting about the no. 10 role after the game, and why Arshavin doesn't play there for us:
"You cannot play with two wingers and two offensive players like that, you are too short in midfield. He is normally a wide player but he wants to grow in a role behind the striker. Of course, he can do that. He plays where you want him to play but if you ask him honestly he will always tell you that he likes to play in there."
Going by this logic, Wenger would never play the modern-day no. 10 centrally as long as Ramsey/Arteta is in midfield alongside Song. Further evidence that Wilshere will play alongside Ramsey/Arteta eventually, not instead of.

It has to be 'instead of' because we can't have a mid of Ramsey Wilshere and Arteta. Wilshere will have to play instead of either Arteta or Ramsey. Unless i've mixed something up here.
