Re: the possibility of losing both Morrison and Pogba
i heard somewhere that in pogbas contract we have the option to extend it for another year so not too worried about him. morrison however looks like he could be on his way. to be honest i think he has been listening to his agent too much, and the reported interest from barca and a few other top teams is gonna make it very hard for us to get him to sign a new contract. we shall see what he cares about more, money or future success

Re: the possibility of losing both Morrison and Pogba
I don't know how real the possibilities are of pogba and morrison leaving, might be a lot of shit stirring by agents/the press. I do hope that they stay and get a chance in the first team because it will be interesting to see how good they actually are.

Re: the possibility of losing both Morrison and Pogba
They have both a big talent, what if they could be the strikers in the future! Very bad if we lose them. But, if they offer a very nice price to Pogba, it may be alright, but anyways, we can't sell Morrison!!!!

Re: the possibility of losing both Morrison and Pogba
Firstly, mate, there's no rush to introduce Pogba. He still looks very raw, based on the couple of games he's played. If he's not interested in staying, then he can leave, the doors open, no player is bigger than the club or manager, for that matter. He has a future with Manchester United, but won't play a significant role this season.
Morrison, on the other hand, is ready for some first team action. Based on the Crystal Palace game alone, he portrayed great confidence and that is seen through the touches he was taking - Kaka-esque, in my opinion. The news regarding his future is completely fabricated, he even tweeted that he hasn't rejected a contract offer. Granted he has a poor attitude, but the talent is there for every one of us to view.
At the end of the day, I just hope both can stay, Morrison more than Pogba though, just because he is the future of England, to be honest.

Re: the possibility of losing both Morrison and Pogba
Why stick with a player who has a dire attitude? Sometimes, in football, it's not all about the talent. No player, I don't care whether your name is Messi or Jelavic, is bigger than the club. (Sorry for that absurd comparison, but it just conveys my point in a better way.) Morrison, if he changes his attitude, will flourish under Big Sam, however, I doubt he will get substantial game time to prove his worth. No doubt the talent is there, but Big Sam has the job of taming this wild animal.

Re: the possibility of losing both Morrison and Pogba
no not pig. another loss it is then.
west ham have offered morrison 20k a week! and the transfer could be up to 1 million. and thats a player who has never kicked the ball in a league game. apparently the deal has hit a snag due to his agent wanting a fee west ham dont agree with. could this be another player whos career could have been ruined by his agent.

F*** Ravel Morrison. Awful attitude from a player who hasn't even proved hiself in the prem yet...to hold the club, a club that has done so much for him, over more money to sign his contract, speaks volumes of his character.
Pogba looks a talent though, he was very solid tonight against Stoke. Didn't show no nerves.

We need a Tiote like player badly, Tiote in our squad would be perfect.

Re: the possibility of losing both Morrison and Pogba
No we don't, we already have Carrick who has arguably done a better job than Tiote this season, that's been evident in the displays he has put in since the performance against Bolton, away from home. One thing that strikes me about our fans is that we want players like de Rossi, Diarra and Tiote, essentially, defensive midfielders, when we already have Carrick, who has done a better job than all of them this season, that's my honest opinion and I can safely say I watch a substantial amount of games of Roma, Real Madrid and Newcastle to make this opinion. One thing some of us forget is that Carrick is our own version of a defensive/holding midfielder. One advantage of having a player like Carrick in the squad is that he has a better passing range than Tiote, if you take a look at Newcastle games in which Tiote has featured in - once he wins the ball back, he tends to give it straight to the opposition...jibers wrote:RED 80s. wrote:F*** Ravel Morrison. Re: the possibility of losing both Morrison and Pogba
I agree Gladiator. Carrick has been phenomenal for us this season, both defensively and offensively. He does so well at shielding the back four, plus is doing what he was afraid to do in the past 2 seasons- spray forward balls.
Our most consistent player this season imo.

I never thought I would say it too lol. Remember how bad he was in 2009/10 season. Devoid of any confidence and was warming the bench for pretty much half that season....to now this. Amazing and a welcomed turn-around from him.
Same with Evans too. He has been in top form. He deserves credit too.

Thats a flat out lie. Did you see hwat he did to us? We couldn't get the ball off him ffs. Tiote has good technique. His passing range might not be as goood as Carricks, but it is good.
