Re: Man Utd 's Raven Morrison
over rater, over hyped but a damn good youngster.
can play in most attacking area's.
Not your typical english player, well more technical than what the norm is in producing british talents.
Granted i dont know much but from what iv seen that is how much i understand.

Wilshere is a freak of nature, one of the most technically gifted englishmen i have ever seen along with joe cole but it is still normal in england when training to miss out on the technical side of the game and focus more on pass and move.
By technical i mean the ability to beat an oppenent without just rushing past ect stuff like that.

Re: Man Utd 's Raven Morrison
In terms of talent he's the English version of Thiago Alcantara.
Shame his attitude/personal life is threatening to ruin his career.

Technique encompasses so much more than "beating a player without rushing past them"
Xavi doesn't usually get past players, does that mean he isn't technical?

well i live in England too, but now that i think about it, your probably right, promoting technical ball skills is still not fully practices across the nation; professionally or at grass roots. however i think it is improving and gradually getting there.

yeah it really is, sooner or later more player like jack will pop up and more and more english kids will idolise them and maybe slightly immitate their play towards said technical players.

he isnt going to roma, but mann id love it if he went there, it'll almost guarantee that he will be a very good player imo. to have the balls to leave england and go and further yourself else were, especially in Italy will show great determination. unusual for english youngsters to do this.

Re: Man Utd 's Raven Morrison
He makes Adriano look like a model Pro mate.......
We wanted him because we were convinced we could turn him around because the talent is obviously there.....
Offered 1m for him and Man Utd turned it down and also his 30k a week demands is far too much.
30k a week for someone who never played a premier league game in his life is fcking ridiculous.....
He has talent to reach the top of the game IMO but his attitude is holding him back.
Shame.

Re: Man Utd 's Raven Morrison
Very technical? I think he is average. If you compare him to Giuseppe Rossi when he was a youngster at United, Morrison is still far under Rossi's level.
