Lionel Messi will leave Barcelona
"In Europe I want to play at Barcelona. I would stay here forever, the longer the better because I feel very comfortable and loved,” the 24-year-old said.
“But before I retire I want to play in my country, I am absolutely certain that I want to play in Argentina. It is a dream and I am going to make it come true.”
From Spanish newspaper Ole.

Re: Lionel Messi will leave Barcelona
i'm not worried. at 24 he already has full career. if he left or retired now i would not be surprised. and if he continues to play like last season i will get surprised: why he doesnt get bored of football?

We've always known this, you're not a newsbreaker here. He wants to finish his career with Newell's, his favourite team.

I thought you were a River fan?
Either way he's obviously going to play for Newell's.

until River leaves second division I do not expect Messi to join us. (and to be honest I'm a bit disenchanted about some other things of River as well)
So it's up to my second team Velez to do it.
And It doesn't necessary have to be Newell's. A good organized club like Velez can be very appealing.
