Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club
after last el clasico and the manchester city and ajax game... i think if ronaldo has a good game today again against barca, the road to balon d'or would be much easier

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club
He was great throw out the match, a shame our midfield wasnt supporting him as much as he want.
Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club
Great courage to finish up the match in pain today. Today I change my mind of him being a vagina. Could have come off but stayed on and kept playing.

Can you elaborate a bit? Two decisive moments in the match, sure but since you said throughout the match, I recall him getting owned most every 1v1, average passing/crossing as per usual and did nothing besides two good finishes basically.Adit wrote:He was great throw out the match, a shame our midfield wasnt supporting him as much as he want.

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club
in matches at the camp nou especially when playing on the counter, you get only a few touches and you have to make them count. he scored 2 vital goals
outran defenders at times and provided two decent crosses at least, got fouled whenever he tried to go past his man, passing was decent, as good as any madrid player tonight

he had like one freekick, didnt get any balls his way from set pieces except for that acrobatic kick. hardy his fault. it was ramos who missed the free header, our only truly decent set piece

What do you expect him to do when Barca is dominating the possession Albi ?

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club
Well Ronaldo is like that in every game LM. He scores, that's all he does. And basically now his performances are based on goals.

You can't do anything without the ball, he meant Ronaldo was great when he had the ball which i believe was true. he did well with the chances he had.

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club
I understand that, and it is extremely effective considering his record against Barcelona as of late, credit to that. I just want Adit to elaborate on his statement.Messiah "Aggerswagger" wrote:Well Ronaldo is like that in every game LM. He scores, that's all he does. Both Messi and Ronaldo shined, but there is a big difference! Messi played against some real defenders, and Ronaldo played against no defenders!

tbh Montoya really surprised me, i think he defends much better than Alves and support the midfield really well. made no mistake against Ronaldo.

messi scored from a set piece so defenders didnt take part, while his first goal was absolute luck

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club
The problem for Ronaldo in his quest to dethrone Messi is that Messi is always evolving.
2008-2009: Messi exploded onto the scene as an explosive dribbling winger who could score goals (like current ronaldo).
2009-2010: Moved to the centre- Produced some Maradona-esque moments (e.g vs Valencia, zaragoza) scored loads of goals, including his notorious chipped finishes.
2010-2011: His all-round play improved a lot and produced s** loads of assists., including some ridiculous threw balls. (e.g 0-5). His passing and vision became almost orgasmic.
2011- 2012: Got Muller inspired and scored a ridiculous number of goals overtaking the man himself. This didnt compromise his assisting and all round play though.
2012 - 2013: As opponents are increasingly figuring him out, he has suddenly turned into a free-kick master. He is still a goal-scorer or poacher and his assisting hasn't been compromised either.
Meanwhile Ronaldo has remained a very good goal-scoring winger. His freekicks havent improved, his passing is still average, creativity and vision is almost non-existent. The only positive for me is he has matured (to some extent), not selfish anymore and has lost his big-game anxiety.

Great game. Constantly got tackled by Barca players but still manages to get into space and find the back of the net...

Besides the freekicks, disagree wholly. His passing is above average and his vision is impressive. He has great crosses, if only benzema could head..gondov wrote:His freekicks havent improved, his passing is still average, creativity and vision is almost non-existent.

It was his cross that Benzema missed on the volley
Nitpicking at it's finest Besides I saw him own Montoya with a dribble aswell
