BTW, there were points in the game where Rooney looked scared of Tiote.

If Bastian, Ballack, and Xabi are still DM's then so is Yaya.

You can play with more then 1 DM and everyone had no problem saying Mancicni was playing with 3 DM's last year.

I don't know why everyone wants to suddenly say Yaya isn't a DM anymore and then when someone scores against City they claim he was supposed to stop it because he's a DM.

It's like people want to discredit him for some weird reason, I don't really get it.

But I digress, this thread is about the greatness of Tiote and his fivehead.

Our Spine is fantastically awesome Sushi......

Shame about the wings and fullbacks areas apart from Santon who was utterly awesome tonight imo......

Also our depth is nothing to shout about , but the middle of the team is great.

who said that these guys were dm? they are all CM's, xabi can play dm but he has always been a cm, well for liverpool and madrid anyway...same with the rest of them.

that doesnt mean yaya should be lazy though he should still trackback when the team needs him to (as a cm should always do), I dont know about now but for a period of time he wasnt doing that, thats why he was getting criticized

Tbf Ivory Coast should walk AFCON with Gervinho, Drogba, Toure and Tiote.....

Mind you Ba and Sow from Senegal would run them close.......

Either way Newcastle for AFCON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yaya is not a DM for City he is B2B and links the midfield and the attack he plays Cabaye's role........

Playing deep doesn't mean they are DM's, dnmac4. Neither Schwein, Ballack or Xabi are DMs, they're all more the registas/box to box type.

Toure hasn't been a DM since his Barca days.

Um, sorry but you don't know what your talking about.

According to this forum in the "who's the best DM" thread 40% of the people voted for Bastian and Xabi and you took part in the thread and didn't say a peep that they aren't DM's. Only when there compared to Yaya you have an issue with it.

In fact they were the two top vote getters outside of Busquets in the poll so pretty much everyone disagrees with you. So, as I say again if Xabi and Alonso are DM's which everyone except you think they are then so is Yaya.

Just because your versitile doesn't mean you can't be a DM.
