Truthfully, I couldn't be more relieved. The ramifications of a guilty verdict could have been devastating. Even if the club didn't sack him (which they should NOT have done regardless of the outcome, in my opinion), his career would basically have been over and he'd lose all legitimacy and what's left of his reputation.

Just happy phase one of this saga is finally over and hoping for the same outcome from any possible FA charges.

He definitely is. In fact, in the short term, I see him as the successor to JT as far as the captaincy is concerned. He speaks and communicates well, seems to have and keep a cool head, and is, as you said, a genuine, nice guy.
