Re: Game of Thrones
I did watch that 9 minute review of the first two season and that's what prompted this desire to watch the first two season in depth again.

Re: Game of Thrones
Finished reading 'A storm of swords'. One my best reading experiences
This season will be an emotional rollercoaster, granted. Almost every characters will impress. There will be epic scenes and dialogues in every episode. ie, if they stay true to the books.

- Spoiler:
- I think it will be in the fourth season, but they must, must, must include the scene involving arya and the tickler

AMAZING That premier lived up to every expectation I had. I'll add my thoughts when I calm down a bit. This was absolutely brilliant.

Re: Game of Thrones
- Spoiler:
- Didnt like the part where Mance was introduced. The tv mance does not show any of the characteristics of the book mance. Mance the singer was an epic introduction. And the conversation between Jon and mance was much superior in the books. And they should have put the part where jon says:
"And did you see where I was seated, Mance?” He leaned forward. “Did you see where they put the bastard?" and mance takes him in at that(You could feel for the character of jon snow in the books, but this tv one is just meh) But obviously they skipped that because of the limited time.

I don't find her attractive. She has the face of some type of forest rodent.
Dany and that wench that works for little finger whose name I can't recall so I'll just call her busty-red

Dany is hot. Margaery for me has a baby face, I would feel like Gil if I thought she was hot.

I'd still easily *bleep* that. Also that hair doesn't do her any justice.

Yeah, let's be honest, outside of the show when they're all prettied up I'd drink all of their bathwater outside of that old Stark lady

Re: Game of Thrones
Decent episode, but not much more than that.
As far as season openers go, this one was good, but season 2's was better imo.
- Spoiler:
- I see what Goonbrain was saying about the Jon Snow-Mance Rayder scene. Was far better in the books. Ciarian Hinds doesn't look to be the best choice honestly.

Re: Game of Thrones
Spot on with the Mance-Jon scene, can't agree with you guys more. I thought exactly the same thing when I watched.
On the whole though, good episode and its good to have it back. Can't expect too much from an opener.

Re: Game of Thrones
Totally agree with the introduction of Mance being underwhelming. Also not one HAR out of Giantsbane.
Tywin Tyrion scene was the best in the episode.
Bronn mocking with the kingsguard was great too.
When they first saw Danny on the ship I was like when is Artisan Whitebeard but I see they decided to move his re appearace to Asaphor instead of Qarth. But WHERE is Strong Belwas?? He's funny.
edit: just remembered the Davos Stannis scene.
Stannis should not have ordered him to the cells. Where is Alex Florent etc.
That pissed me of a bit too.
