Round 12 Talking Points
Saturday, 19 November 2011
Norwich v Arsenal, 12:45
Everton v Wolverhampton, 15:00
Man City v Newcastle, 15:00
Stoke v QPR, 15:00
Sunderland v Fulham, 15:00
West Brom v Bolton, 15:00
Wigan v Blackburn, 15:00
Swansea v Man Utd, 17:30
Sunday, 20 November 2011
Chelsea v Liverpool, 16:00
Monday, 21 November 2011
Tottenham v Aston Villa, 20:00
1) Norwich v Arsenal
An interesting game to kick the round off. Norwich are 2-2-1 at home, Arsenal 1-1-3 away. But the Gunners are on a four-game winning streak and are probably expected to win here, right?
2) Manchester City v Newcastle
Surely the match where Newcastle will taste league defeat for the first time this season? Big stat: City's Goal Difference at home is +14 in 5 games.
3) Sunderland v Fulham
Two teams who probably both have been expected to do better: They are 15th and 16th in the table and both have recorded only 2 wins from their 11 games. Pressure piling on the manager of the losing team of this match? Side-note: I think I read a few days ago that the Premier League has made a record of not sacking any manager by this point of the season.
4) Wigan v Blackburn
Ah, the sweet sweet relegation battle. The Premier League's two bottommost teams face here, both thinking "these are the games we must win if we want to stay up". I think this could either be scrappy or a great game.
5) Chelsea v Liverpool
Like someone said in the LFC section, this game has been made even bigger after we dropped points against two promoted clubs, Norwich and Swansea, at home. Don't know what else to say about this one except that "anything can happen".

Re: Round 12 Talking Points
Arsenal will win comfortably imo.......
We will get something from City( dunno why just a feeling lol)
Fulham and the Mackems will draw
I see Wigan and Blackburn being a 3-3 thriller lol.
Liverpool will beat Chelsea imo with Enrique getting the winner

Re: Round 12 Talking Points
I am seeing a 1-1 or even a 2-1 to newcastle. Dont know why
Also think Swansea can get something from united
Liverpool got a great record against chelsea, will go for a Liverpool win.
Wigan vs Blackburn is an itneresting one. Think Blackburn will edge this.
