Taddei warns of Roma exit
Rodrigo Taddei’s agent confirms he could walk away from Roma in January. “He has been given very little room and can give much more.”
The Brazilian winger has been used as a full-back at times, but in other occasions was not even in the Giallorossi squad.
“Will Taddei leave in January? It’s too early to talk about his future, but one thing is certain: Rodrigo has been given very little room despite the fact he is a player who can still give so much more to Roma,” agent Alessandro Lucci told TMW.
“He is tied to the Giallorossi colours and is in good shape physically. He has everything he needs to do well at Roma, but if the situation remains like this in January then we’ll meet with the club to discuss his future.”
There are reports Taddei is heading for a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, joining former Roma teammate Jeremy Menez.
“PSG are not the only club interested in Taddei. It’s true he went to Paris, but it was purely on vacation and nothing more.
“He continues to be attractive to many sides in Italy, but above all in England. There are many big European clubs ready to step forward, so we’ll see what happens.”

Simply a case of an agent doing his job. I know Taddei is well past it, but I would actually be saddened to see him leave after his years of service for us. The guy has a great work ethic and that simply can't be denied. Obviously he doesn't have much left to offer this team, but I'm sure he could be of use to some midtable team in Italy.

He has been for a long time yet he is still here.Don't get me wrong like Mike said he's a great worker and I appreciate that but I think it's time he moved on...

Should head back to Siena. He's well loved there by the fans and may even prove more useful to them than he is for us.

He made the left flank his own with a man of the match performance. Tadeei did everything he tracked back, ran against thier def, crossed and also won the ball.

Excellent stuff from him yesterday. Ultimately, I still think it's too little too late for him in the grand scheme of things, but I do hope he can continue like this in the interim. Jose Angel may have a fight on his hands for that LB spot.

If he plays like this again, Angel will be sent to the bench for good. Especially because Taddei has a few things that Angel doesn't: experience in the league, two feet and tactical awareness. At this point, Angel is just quicker on the ball.
