Re: Assassins Creed: Revelations
Best opening ever
But a bit disappointed. The game heavily advertised Altair but you get him for what, 50 minutes in six short memories? Desmond sequences are a poor man's Portal, Den Defense sucks big time and combat is too easy. Can plow through soldiers like a knife on hot butter. Also horses are gone.
But still a great game. Fantastic story and Altair's ending was incredible and another awesome cliffhanger. Constantinapole is incredily detailed and beautiful, hookblade makes navigation faster, fluid and opens up a lot of fun possibilites. Bombs are a blast (no pun intended ) to use. Brotherhood recruiting has hugely improved, side missions are better and more diverse. The Assassin's Creed action we all know and love is there with some breathtaking Uncharted-esque set pieces which are the most memorable moments of the game.
And to the people who are saying we are getting the same thing recycled from Creed II and Brotherhood, THIS IS NOT A SEQUEL. The sequel is coming next year with a new timeline, setting and character. Assassin's Creed III will be the best Assassin's Creed of them all, mark my words.

Good to see a fellow Human Revolutionist
PC Game Of the Year for me. A worthy sequel (prequel actually) to Deus Ex. Makes up for the disappointment that was Invisible War. I also didn't finish the game but got a feeling am near the end. Currently in Singapore now.

Re: Assassins Creed: Revelations
True what Milanista said about the sequels
I think I explained in another thread how Brotherhood and Revelations aren't AC3 and AC4.
Brotherhood and Revelations are extensions of AC2.
I think the main character of AC3 will be Desmond. Thats what my friend told me and hes a huge Creed nerd

You don't have to be a nerd to figure all that out

Nope. Ubisoft confirmed it will a new ancestor of Desmond's in a new timeline and setting.
French Revolution and Egypt are the two favourites now.

Re: Assassins Creed: Revelations
what I love about this game is how you go back into different periods of time
honestly the multiplayer could be so much more
I wish they could create more maps, in map packs, like in different parts of the world at different time periods, not just that 1500-1600 time period
they could make a fortune out of them
and soon subway assassinations(though that would be insanely difficult to pull off)
