i hope it's less like brotherhood and more like AC2

brotherhood was disgustingly consolized... i don't give a shit about a million irrelevant achievements and challenges and whatnot... i just want to play the damn game, i'm not desperate for gratification from a video game...

I hope the makers learn their lesson in not making such a huge environment like Brotherhood. Yes, visiting the Colosseum, the Vatican and other famous Italian landmars was sweet. But so much of the whole game was flat and small villages that had no interest or value. AC2 was excellent in terms of breaking the maps up into insanely detailed cities like Venice and Florence which were phenomenal.

Constantinople in Revelations looks much more fun the Brotherhood landscape

I don't agree with comparisons between AC2 and Brotherhood. Because there really shouldn't be any. Brotherhood was an expansion..a bloated expansion..and that's why it just had one city. At the end of AC2, I was dying to explore Rome..and the UBISOFT acknowledged that. I really didn't feel that Brotherhood lacked anything. In fact, it was a great *bleep* game..despite having one city to explore. They more than made up for it with the inclusion of the badass assassin team system , da vinci's missions and the multiplayer.

And that multiplayer blows all other multiplayers outta the water for me. No other game has me so tripped out and scared for my life while playing. They perfectly, and uniquely, captured the entire essence of assassinations..even in team deathmatchs.

All in all. For me, the series has only gotten better..and I really can't wait to get my hands on Revelations. Pre-ordered the signature edition 2 weeks back Very Happy

Ezio Auditore da Firenze is one of the best video game characters I've ever played as. It's been awesome to seem him grow throughout this series and I hope this game brings a fitting end to his story.

Looking forward to seeing a re-imaged Constantinople, one of my favorite cities of the ancient world.

I never got around to beating the first Assassin's Creed and I was actually watching the storyline via youtube (SickSteeny). I just ordered Assassin's Creed II for 15 bucks and I plan on finally enjoying this whole series. Unfortunately the make of the videos (The story so far) has run into some copyright issue and he might not be able to finish the series. I don't really want to play the second game until I see/finish the story line to the first game, if anyone can help explain or point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful (feel free to pm me)

How far did you get in the storyline of the first? I can explain the rest if you want.

more proverbial and writing genius but as a game you are right it was pretty repetitive and sometimes downright stupid
