Response to the announcement from a poster on Arsemania:

Mourinho's clueless, he's a one trick pony. When he took over Chelsea first time they had the financial muscle to blow everyone out of the water. Now not so much and the only "star forward" he could get this summer was Diego Costa (who Simeone was too worried about leaving btw) and then went on to sign an attacking midfielder who was rejected by Barcelona and Arsenal.

Perhaps he realises Costa isn't all that and he needs another big man option and is too arrogant to admit he was wrong about Lukaku so he'll go back to what he knows best.

For all their attacking talent, it's almost guaranteed Schurrle, Salah and Oscar will be bit part players next year while Ramires, Mikel and Willian are starters. That's what he knows best, runners and hard workers with the odd creative player and target man up front. Mostly counter-attack based and hoping for the odd moment of magic, while keeping it tight at the back.

He'll be found out this year, it's almost a level playing now, Arsenal, City, Liverpool and United are no longer a millions miles off Chelsea and Mourinho won't be able to walk the league anymore.
