There were plenty of great games on PS1/2 that were far more original and enjoyable to play than the ones that are being produced these days..

I miss games like Jade Cocoon, Resident Evil 1,2,3 and the original Crash Bandicoot, Syphon Filter, the original Tomb Raider, FINAL FANTASY!, Gran Turismo, Jackie Chan stuntmaster, Rayman, DISCWORLD! I had so many games for PS1 and it's such a shame that I barely finished any of them at the time.

Nowadays it's all about graphics. And it sucks. All the games i love are on PS1 or some other older systems. Final Fantasy VII & VIII, Rayman (original sidescroller), original medal of honor, Gran Turismo 2, Original Silent hill, Resident Evil 2, Worms world party and armageddon, Discworld, Oddworld, Croc etc. Even the Disney games like Hercules were better than 95% of the new games that are released nowadays (Hercules was just an example, it's awesome game imo).

There are a few good, active servers left in Europe which I like.

Call of Duty (the original one) and this United Offensive expansion pack, what a great, great, godly game.
Most importantly the weapons were / are perfect. Actually somewhat difficult, too. What bothers me the most about today's FPS games, like the newer versions of COD, is that the weapons are "modern" and, imo, too easy to use. Just push 'n' hold that mouse button and empty your magazine with a rate of million bullets a second while not getting any significant recoil... Fun and easy for beginners to grasp, but the gameplay suffers.

holy crap, late response but... I couldn't agree more!

RIFLES ONLY was soooo FUN on it. I mean ffs look at the mp44 differences through the series.

I still have CoD UO and I miss it, but I only have the serial key, not the installation disk Sad

Did anyone here ever play any Team Fortress Classic? Played that before CS, great game.
