No...
As for you, Sciacca.....I've read about 7 pages of you snapping at everything with even a remote twinge of negativity towards you are Juve.
You need to learn to shrug that stuff off man. Your hyper-sensitivity is ruining potentially good conversations.
This is from that thread. I didn't say it.
You deal with it. You need to debate properly. Please.

Forza Rossoneri wrote:Let's not look back at the past and have an argument about why Juve players won every Italian world cup instead of Milan players or vice versa.
What is relevant is the quality of the 3 players originally mentioned: Aquilani, Pepe and Marchisio.
Personally, I believe the following:
Pepe: Runs hard, is tough and can make some good crosses, but lacks passing precision, flair and vision.
Aquilani: Opposite to Pepe; not much running, made of glass, stays in the narrow areas mainly, however, he passes well and has a degree of flair and good foresight.
Marchisio: By no means a mediocre player. He's got a great skill set and good positional awareness, but has the knack of underperforming when you expect him to take a step up. Nevertheless, he is a consistent player who you can depend on to carry out their role with no fuss. Needs to develop a bit more to be able to make a "game-changing" impact.
I'm answering this issue as fairly as possible, with no intention of inciting argument, only discussion.
Completely agree

What you Milan fans have to realize was I, or Sciacca for that matter, were not trolling. Just because we don't bow down to Milan doesn't mean we are being trolls. I am simply saying it is a shame that Italy has fallen mostly due to your clubs. You guys give me two potential call-ups, one of whom was bought this January transfer season. Inter give us three; one who just got an Italian citizenship, and the other two who were bought either fully, or in-part, respectively, and that is a shame, despite the fact they are Juventus' rivals.
Ok... perhaps you were not trolling... but you were guilty of taking the thread off topic. Don't even try to say it was on topic. This thread is specifically for starting formations for next season. It has nothing to do with nationality or the Italian national team. I'd like to get Astori, so we could make it three... but... I'm fine with the team how it is. I'm fine with non-Italians too. I love Kwadwo Asamoah. Awesome player.
Look at the 2002 World Cup where Italy had arguably their best squad...there was no domestic dominance, but rather, there was equality and each team contributed somebody. That was the result of banning and regulating foreigners, something which hasn't been used today.
#feelit
The 2006 World cup was pretty even... plenty of Roma, plenty of Milan, some of Inter, plenty of Juve... but it's not really my concern.

Yes, the one who didn't reply to any points I said and instead insulted Juve and went with Abate and etc... sure.

Taiwo > Antonini
Boateng > Ambrosini
Van Bommel
Should we play Antonini just for the sake that he's Italian? No. His form is awful. I heard Juve was once linked to Antonini. Do you still want him? He's Italian.

Your 2006 comment is ridiculous.
Roma = Perrota, Totti, De Rossi. Don't forget De Rossi's red in the USA game meant he missed games due to being banned.
Inter = Materazzi
Milan = Pirlo, Gattuso. Don't claim Inzaghi because we all know where his roots came from.
Juventus = Buffon, Cannavaro, Grosso, Del Piero, Camoranesi, Iaquinta, Zambrotta.
Equal ? Probably not.

And yes, I know some of those Italian players weren't ours officially, making the point of how we continue to buy Italian and help the team out after success and during success.

This thread isn't about Juve. But... you're continuing to buy Italian. Players you are linked to like... Bastos, Beck, Lichtsteiner (SP?), and Lass sound very Italian. These are players you are linked with. And Inler wasn't Italian either (but now he's going to Napoli).
Two Italians you did get was Andrea Pirlo and Pazienza. And Pazienza doesn't contribute to the Italian National Team.
Anyways this is seriously off topic.

Pirlo no longer fit into our team. He didn't have the pace or fitness levels to play a full season and maintain consistency. Good luck with him.
I'm fine with getting more Italians, like Montolivo and Astori. But that's it.

You're a historical revisionist at its worse. Grosso did not play with Juve. He transferred to Inter shortly after the World cup, but was playing at Palermo if I recall. Inzaghi, Oddo (though he played for Lazio) and Nesta were also on the Italy squad.
Seriously stop this.
You are completely wrong.
And you are trolling.
You were the one who brought up the Azzurri and insulted Milan for not having enough Italian players. Sorry, but we don't settle for the low grade of Italians available out there. I'll take Astori but that's it. I'll take Ibra over any striker you have, and he is better than any Italian striker. I'll take Pato over Matri. And you better thank us for Matri... he'd be a bench warmer at Milan... one of our youth products.

Well clearly you are being irrational if you could not read the point addressing Grosso and Inzaghi, and geez I almost forgot the Ballon d'Or Winner Oddo. Man what a player ! So many goals, assists, minutes...no wait.

Uff, atleast that Ballon d'or winner has more assists in 5 apps than Abate the future self proclaimed Ballon dor winner who only had one assist on all

Oh so because Grosso is now your player he counted back then for Juventus? Say what? He played for Inter. And one other thing, we got Zambrotta now... but he's very old now. Taiwo is better than any Italian LB currently called up. Balzaretti... blah... meh...
I hope you enjoy Matri. One of our youth products. He wouldn't make the starting 11 at Milan.

Awww how nice. More ridiculous attacks on Abate... one of the best performing right backs in Italy this prior season. It's not all about assists. But then again... sure Maicon had more... but Maicon was a disaster defending. Abate is growing as a player, and his crossing did improve markedly during the season.
He's come a long way as a player.

1. I said Juventus still advocate for World Cup winners like Toni, Pirlo, and Grosso. Please read.
2. Zambrotta, like most of your team's notable players (Rossi, Baggio, Inzaghi, Seedorf, Ibrahimovic, etc.) were stolen from rivals.
3. Balzaretti > Taiwo.
4. Of course Matri wouldn't make Milan...he's Italian, not Brazilian !!

Luca Toni got his last call up in 2009... correct me if I'm wrong. Grosso is way past his best. Balzaretti is better... but he's meh.
Zambrotta is a utility player at Milan now... especially now that Taiwo was here. We didn't steal Inzaghi. We paid for him. Nice big fee too. Seedorf transferred too for a fee. Rossi? Ibrahimovic came from Barcelona, as did Zambrotta. They had nothing to do with Juve or Inter.
Matri is not quality enough.

Does it matter when they got call-ups ? I said they were World Cup winners and now play for Juventus.
Learn your history. PAOLO ROSSI. Ibrahimovic and Zambrotta were at Juventus prior to Milan so I don't see how they had nothing to do with the clubs...

So what? Grosso isn't great. He's way over the hill. I don't want former world cup winners for the sake of it. Shall we go try to sign Fabio Cannavaro now?
I thought you were referring to Giuseppe Rossi since you were talking about present day players. Not the past. You learn how to show some respect and be more specific.
