Re: The Walking Dead
*spoilers if u havnt seen the 3rd episode*
- Spoiler:
watched the 3rd episode, it was kinda boring with all the emotional dialogues n shit at first.
But i really cant get my head around with what shane did.
I dont know what to think, it was morally wrong, for sure. But did he do it for the kid ? his friend ? or himself ?

- Spoiler:
- It's kinda effed up what he did, but is understandable. One of them is slow and fat, the other is limping, they were gonna eventually run out of steam and get eaten by the Zombies. He had to kill the fat dude so that it could give him some time to get away and get the medicine to the house. Also, it was the fat guy's fault the kid was nearly killed.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- From the look of things regardless of the fat guy being the "cause" it wasn't his fault.
The kid is behind the deer.
Both Rick and Shane let the kid get closer and farther away from them. Otis was just hunting for food.
He recognized his mistake and offered to risk his life to help the poor kid. Despite being fat he was still carrying alot and keeping up with Shane. Who had messed up his ankle making him more a liability.
Because from where I was watching they both looked like they were maintain good pace.

- Fair point about Otis not entirely being at fault for shooting the kid. i just don't have that much sympathy over what happened to him. It was either him or Shane, both were eventually gonna get caught imo. Shane did what he had to do and I don't blame him for doing it.

- Good point. But then again in post apocalyptic world there really isn't much room for being all high and mighty to be honest. Aside from direct friends and family of course.

- Yeah, I thought it looked the same, that they were keeping pace ahead of the walkers. Who knows though. And even if they were bearing down on them, why did Shane shoot him in the leg and not the head? The walkers would've turned their attention to him anyway, giving him the time he needed. Normally I probably would've given him the benefit of the doubt but seeing as he already thought about killing Rick and tried to rape Lori, I think he's a sick person.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- Good points all of you, I think they might make shane a villain in the future seasons, but it wont be sense though as the show already have walkers in them. Although saying that, what shane did ( ignoring otis incident ) was really amazing, i mean risk your life for your friend's kid, Takes some balls.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- The writing was fine and dandy until that random Shane moment where he killed Otis. What. The. F*ck?
Shoot the guy because he's slowing who down again? Himself? And shoot him in the leg just for teh lulz? Then take the backpack off him which was slowing him down in the first place? Ingenious.
The show is really good but that random outburst of insanity from Shane just doesn't make sense. Perhaps it will on a later stage but right now it seems lulz.

I have to admit, this show is becoming better and better with each passing episode. The last 2 were crackers.

Re: The Walking Dead
It would be a much better show if zombies wanted to rape everyone to death instead of eating them...Sex is also a primal instinct yeah?
We could call it The Wanking Dead

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
watched the latest episode, too much drama and too less action for my liking. I mean it was kinda a waste of an episode. I guess the show will pick up when they start moving again on the road ? if the old man asks them to leave that is. The well incident was the best scene of the episode imo lol
But you can say that they are kind of developing characters. The Kid is definitely shane's or else she wouldnt be too upset. Then you have that horse girl flirting with that guy with the cap whos name escapes me lol.
Let's hope there are more walkers in the next ep

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- So Hershel is keeping zombies in the barn....wtf?? I' guessing the zombies are his family and friends that he cant kill, so he has them locked up in the barn....and hoping if the cure exists, then they can be cured.

- Spoiler:
- Great guess. Can't wait to find out, maybe the show finally gets some pace. That slut being pregnant is also a mystery...I think the child will make her confess to Rick what they've done but it will eventually turn out to be Ricks(how will they find out though?)

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- The latest episode was a yawnfest. One part was so dumb, the part when daryl was unconcious only to wake up and find a Zombie trying to eat his boots..........wtf? Here is a man out cold with nothing but a vest, all body exposed and badly wounded and the Zombie is trying to chew his boots? That bit was really silly.
If they wanted to add some suspense, they should have had Zombies crossing the river trying to get to daryl, leaving him with a life or death decision to either try to climb the mountain or fight them with everything he has. That would have been brilliant suspense.
I also don't like the forced relationship between Glen and the girl. The producers so desperate to conjure up some sex in the show....cmon man. This show has potential, but it always seems to slip up just when it is just getting exciting.
Another thing, this missing girl saga is dragging on too much now. Less talking, and more zombie filled suspense please. I also can't stand that woman who was in prison break. Awful actress who has no emotions, her acting is so wooden.

Good post, agree with most, if not all of what you said.
- Spoiler:
- Especially the zombie chewing on Daryl's boot, wtf? And ffs, they need to find that girl by the next episode.
As far as the "zombie farming", I think Hershol can't/won't kill the zombies because of his religious beliefs.
And Andrea is dumb as hell

Re: The Walking Dead
Completely agree with Devil is red
- Spoiler:
- It was a bit slow paced episode, and once again they forced 1-2 walkers in the episode to make it interesting but it looked forced, and i thought of the exact thing, Why would u chew his freakin boot when u can go straight for the stomach!?
Despite daryl being a c*nt at times, he is one of my fav characters. and i do believe his brother will play a big part in the series.
Hershal doesnt like the party, but his family does. Understandably so as well i guess, but i hope they can gtfo on the road asap.
Ending was intriguing, lets see what happens next

- Spoiler:
- You have a point there, I have no idea. When they went to CDC building and Dr. Jenner showed them how humans die before they're revived again into zombies, I think if the cure existed then it would make the brain function again or something.
