So Hershel is keeping zombies in the barn....wtf?? I' guessing the zombies are his family and friends that he cant kill, so he has them locked up in the barn....and hoping if the cure exists, then they can be cured.
Arn't they already dead though ?
- Spoiler:
- You have a point there, I have no idea. When they went to CDC building and Dr. Jenner showed them how humans die before they're revived again into zombies, I think if the cure existed then it would make the brain function again or something.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- I think we're finally gonna see more action in the next episode. I'm a patient guy so I take the last few episodes not having much about them, but this has to be building up for a good finale. I think it's high time one of the maine characters get killed off. Everyone seems far too comfortable and safe and that's not good for this show, which thrives on the apparent lack of safety no matter where these folks go.

- Agree with that. The great thing is that you can't tell who will die, if they die that is. Pretty sure new characters will pop up around later stages, maybe season 3 even. But If i was a betting man, i would say Glenn might die. But let's see

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- I hope they kill T-Dog, he is the most useless character there. What the hell does he contribute? He is just there to create diversity amongst the cast.
Let's see, there's the Asian, the red neck and the black guy. And why call him T-Dog? Why not call him Terrence or Jack or Daniel etc. lol. enough of my rant.
Get rid of him or that woman with the short hair. They're both pointless.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- Another episode goes down the drain....Rick found out about the baby and that Lori and Shane had sex.....Dale found out about the zombies in the barn....Shane and Andrea encountered some zombies...WTF, that was pretty bad considering i was expecting something dramatic and someone dying.....If they don't pick up in the next episode this show will lose a lot of viewers.

Re: The Walking Dead
What a huge let down this show is.....so much potential, but awful writing, awful characters and limited budget is letting it down.
That'st my rant. I am disappointed because a show like this had so much potential to be really brilliant. One final thing, because of the budget, I don't expect them to leave the forest. It will cost too much money to continously film and create a post apocolypse city. So they are gonna drag this storyline for as long as they can.
- Spoiler:
- nothing is happening whatsoever, the entire 2nd series is revolved around a missing 10 year old girl in a post apocolypse zombie world...she has been missing for like 6 episodes, and yet nothing has happened apart from silly search parties that lead to nothing.
A pregnant lady hiding the fact she got pregnant by her husband's best friend, and when the husband finds out, it is the biggest anti-climax ever. Why build the suspense and then squash it like that with such a anti climax scene? smh...it's like the writers ran out of ideas on how to end that particular scenario.
The scene where that lady asked Glen and the girl to go back to the pharmacy was like the 3rd time she sent them, why don't they just get a pick up truck and clean the whole damn store so they wouldn't have to continously drive to zombie town and risk their lives...
Also in the latest episode, Andrea went from a nervous wreck with a weapon who couldn't even aim with a sniper rifle, to becoming Clint Eeastwood with a pistol. All in a days training she was able to transform from a rookie into a deadly marksman giving straight head shots to zombies between their eyes from 30 meters away. so unrealistic and shit.
The barn filled with zombies, it took one of the characters about 5 epsiodes in to dicover the den filled with them. You try telling me, wailing zombies making all sorts of noise because of their hunger, yet no one heard a thing?

LMFAO 100% SPOT ON
- Spoiler:
- the show should be named as , "Have sex and shoot a zombie".
Wtf was the 6th episode about ? Shane tricks andrea to a place filled with zombies just so she can get over her fear Then they ended up making out in the car and the old man got pissed for some reason.
I really really dont like Lori. Either she is always crying, or she is getting emotional over Rick, Shane or the kid. Hate her scenes.
Like i said before, Daryl might be a c*nt but he actually does provide good moments in the show. Cant wait till Hershal kicks the shit out of them out of the house.
Or even better, Hope somehow the barn door gets unlocked and the Walkers eat half the family up or something.
Dont even start me on that Girl

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- Well this episode was a bit disappointing, but it wasn't THAT bad. I'm still keeping the faith though and I still believe someone needs to be killed off before the finale, which I still think will be pretty huge. I would've settled for Glen's girlfriend being bit by that walker in the drugstore. Would've spiced things up a bit and her spat with Laura was quite entertaining afterwards.
Herschel's views on why he's keeping the wallkers in the barn are very intriguing to me though. He still thinks they're people, but what exactly does he plan to do with them? He's obviously no scientist so it's not like he can conjure up a cure for them or even study one like Dr. Emmerich last season. He's going run out of chickens eventually to feed those things and I've love to see what happens at that point. I find it hard to believe he'll just keep them there for the rest of the season.
I do agree completely with Devil-is-Red on the whole baby debacle. Very anti-climactic. Rick's obviously too good of a person to have any hard feelings about this and I think that's a fault in his character. This man simply doesn't hold grudges...even when he's been betrayed in such a way by someone so close to him. He's the ultimate good guy and while that's great for the life and death situations with these walkers, it makes for poor TV when facing domestic issues like what we saw in this episode.

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- The last episode did not disappoint.....Finally the mystery of the little girl got solved, but to be honest it caught me by surprise I didn't expect her to be a walker in the barn.
One question that's left though, is if Hershel will let them stay in his property or will he kick them out? For the sake of the show, it'll be better if they move on.
Now that the little girl is dead, i don't see any reason why the mom shouldn't die. Also T-Dog seems like a pointless character in the show.
Lastly, I wonder if the black guy from beginning of the show will play a part again.

Re: The Walking Dead
The latest episode was a great one.
Great climax at the end.
- Spoiler:
- I kinda sussed it that the young girl was a zombie and that she may be in the barn, there is no way she would have survived that long on the run without any food and shelter.
Great climax at the end.

Re: The Walking Dead
Finally!!
- Spoiler:
Thought it was the best episode of the season, after the 1st one. The girl in the barn, that was some twist lol.
Shane has gone mad, but i guess it was bound to happen. Ofcoarse the old man is not gonna let them stay anymore, which is good.
Cant wait till feb. The 2nd part of the season will be epic, u can tell

Re: The Walking Dead
Although this season wasn't what I expected I still loved it.
It showed a lot of character development and t was more or less low key.
Hopefully it's just the calm before the storm.
Now to wait till February -_-

Re: The Walking Dead
- Spoiler:
- Looks like I got what I wanted. Central character gets killed off, albeit not one I expected by any stretch of the imagination. I think that neatly wraps up the whole arc about the missing girl and I have to say I'm pretty satisfied from a cinematic point of view. Had she survived, it would've been a bit too cliche for my liking.
Loved Shane in this episode too. Guy plays the douchebag role far better than the forlorn 3rd wheel of a best friend. He showed just how weak Rick can be in this episode when he let those walkers out and started killing them. Couldn't help, but grin at that part.
Great episode all in all. Can't wait for February.

I don't like Shane at all he just thinks about himself but Rick's character is awful. he is too soft, boring and meh .

They should have definitely chosen another actor for Rick's character. The current guy just isn't up for the role.
