Ronaldo unhappy playing for Portugal?

When he played against Denmark he seemed unpleased about the level of talent most of the portugal players where at and didn't seem to happy about it. I don't know if he is usually like this but I do think he doesn't enjoy much playing for the national team

Denmark are quite good.

As for Cris he is just unhappy when he is on the losing side. He really really doesn't like losing.

just in general, he doesn't seem to have confidence in most of hi team mates, whether he plays bad or not; at least usually when he plays bad for Madrid he tries, with Portugal its more like i'm only here because i kind of have to

Cris is a very emotive guy, sometimes his visible frustration is directed at himself not others.

Because his team sucks and they are not winning. He has a winning mentality and he wants his national team to win! Being the best player on that team probably frustrates him that everyone else is not in it to win it.


He is facing same thing as Messi, might not be remembered because no national team glory haha!!

Messi and Ronaldo essentially have a similar dilemma. Ronaldo has a good defence, but a horrible midfield and attack to support him. Whereas, Messi has a great strike force, but an extremely weak defence. Additionally, they both have average/good coaches.

Messi needs a strong team to help him be that extra inch better and so does Ronaldo. However, I think they will have a hard time to win if they face either Spain or Germany. Their only chance to get international glory is to avoid germany and spain, imo.

Nani is a great player, but if you think Moutinho and Meireles are great players then you clearly dont watch them enough.

they might not be great,but "horrible" midfield and attack is pushing it imo,they are at least decent.


argentina also has a pretty decent midfield.

I consider Portugal a top 10 team. I said horrible as relative to the team they are in. If they were in Togo's team, they would be worldclass for them. However, Portugal is a way better team, therefore these guys would just be average for portugal. How can a team who has Meirles - Moutino - Veloso - Postiga, Almedia as prime contenders for starting line up, compete with Kroos- Gotze, Schwine, Gomez, Klose.

*Notice how i left Ozil and Muller out to account for leaving out Ronaldo and Nani.

The truth is he just can't stand up there after making a pass like that. I still think they will make it though.
