Ricardo Quaresma
the most one dimensional, useless 1 footed player in the world lol....watta joke.
every time this idiot kicks the ball it's with the outside of his right foot, he's hilariously bad and idiotic lol
how was this waste of space ever rated higher then Ronaldo in Sporting academy

Maybe because he was older and they were in different age groups.

because he was shockingly bad as a Substitute for Portugal today...like it was a "is this guy serious?" type of performance.

Re: Ricardo Quaresma
How was he that bad?
He put in 3 or 4 crosses, like 1 bad one, 1 great one and 1 or 2 meh ones.
What did you want him to do? Because he crosses in his own unique way thats somehow bad?
At least when Portugal were trying to get into the game and force it, he was brave enough to get on the ball and try. He kept trying and trying.
What happened to Nani and Cristiano in those times? Both did nothing to bring them back in.
People pick on Quaresma just because he is flashy, rather then what he actually does on the pitch.
He did nothing that bad, nothing that good, nothing to see here move along.

Re: Ricardo Quaresma
Portugal have the personnel, and in the right system even Quaresma can be made to look good and play well.
Something if off with them right now and Bento should try to figure out how to fix it.

Re: Ricardo Quaresma
PortugalĀ“s problem is their best players are "wingers" in my opinion.
They keep getting them the ball out wide, nothing comes through the center. Too easy to defend against.
Need to either be counter attack side or have more variety in their play.
No Deco though, so they lack that sort of player.

Have you seen him play for Besiktas? He's so incredibly infuriating!!! He has several passes on, but no, he decides that a step-over, elastico, chop, roulette combo is the better option and invariably loses the ball.
Or he has a cross on, but instead of whipping it in, he does a few pointless step-overs that fool nobody because the defenders aren't near him yet, keeps doing step-overs, but by this time loads of defenders are back to clear the cross should he actually decide to put it in. But it doesn't come in because he time wasting skills have resulted him being closed down and his stupid rabona cross is either blocked or goes wrong because he is under pressure.
Usually I wouldn't get angry at a football game that my team isn't involved in but when I watch Quaresma I can't help screaming "PASS THE F*CKING BALL!!!!" at the TV.

Re: Ricardo Quaresma
I am just talking about his 20mins or so vs Denmark, nothing more or nothing less.
No need to tell me about his play in Turkey, wasnt really what I was talking about.

I know this is a necro thread, but since there was already a thread about this great player I wasn't gonna make another
Anyway, did anyone see his 2 goals today?

Yes that would be awesome. He was a great player for us, I always thought he'd become an important player of some top team, it never happened though. Oh well

Are you trying to imply Messi > Quaresma?
Anyway, yes they aren't the greatest defenders, but I thought both goals were pretty cool to watch!
