Neuer
Lahm Hummels Puyol Ramos
Schweini Alonso
Iniesta Ozil Podolski
Klose

That would be my preferred starting lineup.

Mascherano? Really? Zanetti is a leftback? Give them Messi and that's it.

Actually yes. I just chose Gomez to confound the Spain fans and not make it too obvious that I used more Germans than Spanish players Razz

Yes Puyol is back and playing well.

I agree with your line-up with the exception of portero. You can't improve on Casillas. I would like to see Ozil in this line-up, maybe him in place of Gotze.

I think Badstuber is highly underrated, but I have to admit even I wouldn't select him in front of the Spaniards (yet?).

You dont need Pique when you already have Boateng or Hummels, Boeteng or Hummels will push forward while Badstuber will player deeper and stay behind.

Also Badstuber Technique, composure, Passes and crosses are top class.

I agree with this on current form, except switch Badstuber with Hummels and Kroos with Podolski. Hummels had a horror show against Marseille a few weeks ago but has since then proven himself again, and Podolski has been tearing shit up, and talent wise I would put them both in anyways.

Merseille game was the reason why I didn't choose Hummels over Badstuber or Boateng, but if this was after his performance against Arsenal I would have replaced Ramos with Boeteng and play Hummels alongside Badstuber.

It is also very tempting to replace Xavi with Toni Kroos and put Podolski or Gotze in the line-up.

Something like this.

------------------Neuer---------------
Boeteng--Hummels----Badstuber--Lahm
-----------Kroos------Schweini--------
Muller/Gotze----Oezil/Gotze------Podolski/Schürrle
---------------Gomez/Klose-----------
