Would Rooney get into Spain and Germany's XI ?
Big argument going on, I have now.
I voted no, as his undeniable talent, doesn't really make him better that NT proven players like Klose/Villa/etc

Re: Would Rooney get into Spain and Germany's XI ?
He'd either play as an SS replacing Iniesta/Özil or as a ST replacing Klose/Gomez or Villa - so: no.
Not that Roons is bad, but on the international stage he doesn't hold a candle to any of those players. :O

Re: Would Rooney get into Spain and Germany's XI ?
Maybe Spain, but there is no way his going to bench Gomez or Klose.
Unless of course if he plays as CB then he can replace Badstuber, but wait a minute we've Hummels, Howedes, Mertesacker and Boateng.
Sorry he can't

Rooney is better than Ozil, and that's coming from the biggest United hater on hereVivaStPauli wrote:He'd either play as an SS replacing Iniesta/Özil or as a ST replacing Klose/Gomez or Villa - so: no.

Rooney would start for both teams, without much thought.
Dont matter about other players, Rooney is one of the best players in the world, if allowed, you play him. You figure out the system afterwards.

I agree Rooney is better, but he means international form and tbf Ozil always is one of the best during the international break.

But England national team fan and supporter of EPL.
Re: Would Rooney get into Spain and Germany's XI ?
Rooney is a better striker than Özil, yes, but not a better creator, and that's what Germany need more.

Then it means you'll bench one of Sergio/Alonso/Xavi/Iniesta

Still think Silva as a WF is a little weird. I'm guessing Rooney can play as WF.

Re: Would Rooney get into Spain and Germany's XI ?
Rooney would start for Spain in CF role. They really need a speedy attacker to make space for tiki-kaka
In Germany, I'd play him instead of Podolski maybe, never in place of Ozil, Muller or Godmez. They score more or more creative than him

Same formation and team Spain played in the world cup just replace Torres with Rooney.

Silva dont play now,so lets forget him.
But why a limit on how many of these players you can play?
How about drop that silly double pivot, play 433 with Rooney, Villa, Silva, Xavi, Iniesta and Busi or Alonso.
