Why do u think Johnson continues to bench one of the best youngster in Emgland in Kelly if he is a defensive liability as u make out who owned the flanks against the likes of United and Chelsea?

How do u think Liverpool had the 2nd best defensive record since Kenny took over if Johnson is a defensive liability? Or how do u explain Liverpool having the 3rd best defensive in the year before if Johnson is a defensive liability.

Now could u mention 3 defensive mistakes Johnson made that cost Liverpool goals?


Of the players u mentioned only Ramos and Sagna are definitely better.But when u say smalling its pretty clear ur how much rubbish ur knowledge of PL players is.Do u even know how much matches Smalling played as a RB?Stop posting about Pl players and embarrassing urself.

Agreed. I don't see what's so outrageous about the players he picked? Now no "elite caliber" defender is worse then Marcelo at defending so I will have to disagree there but Glen Johnson while a very good player is the same caliber as the 5 mentioned by Grande Milano, I don't really see the need to insult him and claim he just doesn't watch the EPL or he is embarrassing himself??

Frankly when someone says Smalling is a better Rb than Johnson then yes he is embarrassing himself with his knowledge of Pl players.

Johnson is easily the best RB england can offer,top 5 i dont know honestly.

Nope, not mad at all as it's a comforting feeling knowing that our bench players will come in and skin him whenever they want in any game they wan't. Now if he were playing midfield I would actually feel nervous about him being out there against us but as a defender I can't tell you how happy it makes me to have Marcelo in your lineup. I pray he keeps winning awards and Mou keeps him in defense for ever and ever.

Arbeloa is better defensively whereas better going forward.I dont think there are much between tham as overall defenders tbh.

Thats exactly my point.The likes of Lietsh(whateverhisname) Ivanovic or Arbeloa or Rafinha or any good RB are on the level of Johnson atmost.Who among those is better depends on opinion or bias or preference.Only true world class players Sagna Ramos or Alves are comfortably better than him.

But when someone makes comments like Johnson is a laughable RB or cant defend without any decent arguments its just ignorant to say the least.

He named 5 players not just Smalling and I do think that Smalling has more potential then Johnson but he is young so comparing them is difficult. As for the others, I would rate Ivonovic better and the same goes with Ramos and Sanga. For you to sit here and claim there are not five better RB's in Europe is frankly idiotic and being a homer, and I like H+Johnson so I don't mean to bash him but you have totally overstated how good he is.

People underrate Lichtsteiner, because he played for Lazio and Juve. Best RB in Italy with Isla, has been consistent for long time. He is at least Johnson level

If Johnson is a laughable RB then those named shouldnt be comfortably ahead of him? They hardly are.Infact anyone could make a case for any of those RB to be better as its just a matter of preference.None of them are comfortably better than Johnson at RB apart from Sagna or Alves or Ramos.

As for Smalling potential then its easy for me to say Kelly has far more potential than Smalling at RB.He has even some quality performances to back that up.So based on that potential couls i claim he is better than Alves or Ramos? That wont make much sense.

I voted Serbia. Italy is great defensively as an entire team, I think Serbia's back four is better. Then Spain, then Italy... but I think as a whole Italy is the best defensively and euro qualification stats will tell you that as well.
