Re: Bale vs Walcott
I'm sure Bale has everything he's going to do planned months in advance, most likely drawn on blueprint and assessed by Brunel enthusiasts to flush out any flaws and expose any weaknesses

randomers?
they work in the Media, there job is to sit in a newsroom and watch every game and then write about it...they have watched more footy in there lifetime then you ever will...they get payed to express there thoughts and opinions and broadcast games on Television.
Professionals vs Lex....hmmmm whose word holds more

lmao because he has a sense of humour he is not professional?....it is his personal twitter account.
yours first statement doesn't make sense how are 2 media personalities who get payed to watch football randomers. just because you do not get there programming in w/e country you live in?....they are Nationally broadcasted here in Canada they have there own radio show, tv show and do all Serie A broadcasts...fact is they get payed MONEY for there opinions because they have knowledge of the game, getting payed means its your job, meaning it is your profession, making them professionals....you write your opinions on a football forum to a bunch of teenagers.
let me know when you start getting payed for your opinions here...your the random not them

Lex >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.. 99 % of "tv experts"
As 99% dont know diddly squat....
Just because they get paid to spout a opinion ( which is usually full of sh*t) doesnt mean who knows anymore than the random man( infact he usually knows alot less)

Re: Bale vs Walcott
If I'm playing a 4-3-3 I'd probably take Walcott, but otherwise I'd take Bale.
Both are pretty inconsistent and one dimensional. If you know how to defend them they don't really offer a threat. I think Bale can improve more than Walcott though and some of the things I've seen from Bale shows why people hype him up so much. He has a wonderful kicking technique, strikes through the ball very crisply. This means he has a great cross, volley and potentially, shot. In Tottenham's game if he's isolated he goes missing though.
Walcott just hasn't really come a long in 5 years. Wouldn't be that surprised if Oxlade-Chamberlain overtakes him, or if a new manager just gives up on him.
Why not throw Lennon into the mix? Just as good. Scores less goals, but he's not a goalscorer, its not his job.

Walcott for me, Bale only plays good against the Italian teams.
Walcott has 3 goals and 2 assists so far.
Bale only 1 goal.

Re: Bale vs Walcott
I think Bale is far better as a winger.
Walcott should play as a striker,he just doesnt have attribute for a winger apart from pace may be.

Re: Bale vs Walcott
Walcott for sure. More consistant than Bale, more pace. Bale has two bad games then a great game. Walcott isn't always amazing, but he gets the job done faster and more consistantly than Bale
