Honda on the move. Empty Honda on the move.

Post by Red Alert Fri Jun 10, 2011 5:09 pm

Honda has confirmed his intention to leave CSKA Moscow, telling Japan's Nikkan Sports newspaper: "It's agonising.

"I can't stay like this. I said I wanted Japan to win the World Cup. I was MVP at the Asian Cup in January but I'm still not happy with things.

"Right now I'm in a rut still being at CSKA. This wasn't what I planned. If I don't accept it, I can't live my life. But if I get too used to my circumstances I'll come to a halt.

"That scares me."

On sky. :bball:

I hate when people call others "Emo" because they actually have feelings. It seems like he wants to leave because his football life is at a standstill, he clearly would like a new challenge. I think it would be difficult to find a footballer who isn't "emo", as a matter of fact I would want my player or teammates to play with emotions. It's not like he is looking for more money or something like that so I don't see any reason for you to "attack" him.

I'm not attacking him, its not my fault if anyone puts any negative connotation behind 'emo'.

I was saying that he was 'emo' because he was pouring his heart out to the press which is a bit strange. You know emo is shortened word of emotional right?

Still wouldn't mind him settling down at Milan. Would boost our Asian market and I've discussed wanting him since I joined the old forums.

I've always liked Honda. (although only ever seen him play for Japan)

Would love him at Liverpool if the fee wasn't too hefty.

Yes I am aware what that emo is short for. Sorry for not understanding your message. I just thought you were taking a shot at the player for having passion about his career. I don't find it that strange especially with everything that has gone on back home. I think he just wants to start a new journey and keeping moving forward as opposed to feeling "stuck".
