PSG submitted a 13M offer for Keisuke Honda. Attracting Asian viewership is still important to them, hence this move.

also, according to LEquipe, Pato to PSG isnt quite dead yet, Milan is waiting to agree a deal with CIty for Tevez to give any response to PSG about Pato.

Guess this is the end of Nene? Or they want to add depth to the AM area? I don't think Honda will be purchased at 13m to play a bench role...

Honda is versatile enough to play CM if i recall, so it wouldnt be a death sentence for anyone.

Also, they have to get used to depth and competitiveness. Nene is 30 yo, he is not a kid anymore, he should understand what rotation means.

Yeah Honda can play as a CM too and also he played as a CF at the WC..

He did play deep in one of the ASIA cup games if i can recall..

He's extremely versatile thats for sure...And they'd be having a great dead-specialist in him..

I don't know his status today, but Honda hasn't been fit enough to play for CSKA for a while, a couple months, I'd guesstimate.

He can cover Sahin for us as long as hes back in his Dortmund form again or play a formation with a 3 midfielders. Btw, terms of Speed, technic, passing and positioning Honda is just as good as Sahin or Xabi. Oh and excellent at going forward with attack. Hes more like a ACM imo.
