The Bulge in Keisuke Honda
By 'Bulge' I do not mean a raging hard-on in Keisuke Honda's groin region, yet the bulge in his eyes. This has nothing to do with his performances so Abra, you may be disappointed.
Let me start off:
Take a look at him; does he not look different to what he is now? Maybe only Keisuke fanatics in Jespwe and Abra will notice.
Yet here is Keisuke Honda now:
Can you not see the difference? Sometime during his career it seems therein was produced an uncontrollable raging bulge....in Keisuke Honda's eyes. Compare the pictures as does he not look different?
So to the scar 10cm below the laryngeal prominence, speculated to be a thyroid surgery Keisuke Honda replied to a reporter who asked about it: "It is nothing"
Speculations:
-His possible thyroid surgery caused an unnatural change in his appearance, possibly Graves Disease to which Mezut Özil clearly has.
-Genetics
My personal theory is that Keisuke Honda over the summer (wherein the World Cup his eyes became even more pronounced) was abducted by certain extra-terrestrials and replaced with possibly the best player in the world (by his season) in....Keisuke Honda.
Judge for yourself as I will not recover more pictures given that this is the most useless thread I have ever conceived.

Re: The Bulge in Keisuke Honda
Good thread, it's quite interesting how the bulge has clearly increased.
Perhaps Honda senpai is experiencing a rare form of allergic reaction to some sort of procedure that he may have taken such as the one you pointed out.

I actually did notice that his eyes were weird compared with before, had no idea about this scar though.
He doesn't look as good now

Re: The Bulge in Keisuke Honda
I noticed in the before and after picture, that in the "after" picture he's got that extra eye fold that asians don't typically have. Maybe it just looks that way.. I don't know.

I didn't mean to be mean! I'm just pointing out that it looks like he's got that extra upper eye fold in the "after" picture. Maybe it just looks like it from that angle. It doesn't really matter, anyway. I'm a fan of Honda

Honda is currently equal top scorer in Serie A, so Arq has to get creative in thinking of reasons to drop him.
