I really really dislike this team, they are incredibly hard to play against. But I do feel if we had had Chicha and Rooney playing today, we would have won this match. Not to mention Vidic who would have dealt with Stoke's ariel threat...especially Crouch too. We should have also had 2 pens.

But I guarantee, City, Arsenal and Spurs won't win at Stoke's ground this season. They are very hard to beat.

Well, this is just our first blip against Stoke so far (compared to other teams who've fared much, much worse against them in recent years than we have), so I'll take the point. Stoke don't have an appealing style, but they're effective, at the very least.

Positives... I'd say Fletcher having a decent match, Nani continuing to have a hell of a start, Phil Jones being quite solid once more, and De Gea passing the Stoke test.

We really shouldn't play Berbatov and Owen together. Mediocrity ensues when they're paired.

I think Man Utd stole a point here (De Gea helping with that)

Good to see for the EPL, but no Rooney and no Chico is a big loss to any team.

This game shows how important Rooney is for United. His game is at such a different level these days, and even when he doesn't score or assist he is usually the creator of there goals.

He is not just a striker anymore, he is basically there "messi". The playmaker/scorer in the final third.

I give credit to Stoke but it's a different games if Rooney plays.

Right now his form is second only to Messi
