I hear about stoke city often in posts but never saw them play. they are known for cold nights, could give a run for their money against fc barselona and so on. what is the deal with them? why so much hype??

They are bloody tough on their own turf. Gives you everything you need physicality, tough defense.

those throws are insane... teams still have so much trouble stopping it, even big physical teams like blackburn/bolton have a herd time defending it

Throw ins are overplayed imo, there were a threat from them in 1st season but ever since then people have learnt how to deal with them.

Actually look at stats where goals come from throw ins and it will be a lot lower than you probably think.

It's not overrated at all. I think you miss the mocking tone the whole thing is repeated in. Most people just laugh at the whole silliness of it, but it's so absurd it just caught on.
