'Stupid' Elia 'hates' Lucio

Lucio and Eljero Elia have already sparked the Inter-Juventus rivalry. “I hate Lucio.” “What he said is stupid.”
The Nerazzurri defender accidentally kicked Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg in the head during Saturday’s 0-0 draw at San Siro.

Fellow Dutchman Elia was watching the game on television and tweeted harsh words for the Brazilian.

“i hate lucio #inter he kick #stekelenburg in the face he have to get a red card :@ i am really angry.”

Mediaset television told Lucio about the Twitter message and he gave his response.

“It’s only normal, because now he’s a Juventus player. I would never say something like that. I don’t hate anybody,” insisted the Inter star.

“I don’t think it’s right to even talk about it, because not even he can say or know what happened on the field.

“I don’t know why he said it, but this isn’t important for me. The only important thing is that Stekelenburg is alright.

“As I already said, it was an involuntary situation. What Elia said is stupid.”

stekelenburg is a big part of the oranje and a friend to Elia isnt he, no wonder he's pissed!

Imagine if lucio was watching one of his friends and important teammates get KO's by a silly, ruthless and wreckless challenge.

Granted the word 'hate' isnt needed for. But depending where your from the strength of meaning changes so maybe Elia didnt mean for his comments to come across as strongly as the did to Lucio and the media.

Or maybe he dislikes his countryman and international teammate being kicked in the head. Reguardless if it was intentional or not. And it was accidental, just a bad decision.

The kick to the head was intentional, however Lucio protesting to the referee claiming that he never hit him was wrong, good that he got booked. I can careless if it was an accidented, the way Lucio acted was harsh, ffs he was on a strecher... Lucio thought he was faking it lol maybe... who knows. Anyways, I agree with Elia, plus even better now for the Inter derby soon, first we face Abate's team.

This makes the next game so interesting. And yes I forgot about how Lucio reacted. Very badly. Elia has every right to hate him. If that was Cesar on the floor he'd be waving his imaginary red card at the reff.

For me it was a stupid challenge by Lucio...

Maybe, after seeing his own countryman Dida take a dive, Lucio thought all goalkeepers were divers.
