Di maria cost us a game, pepe on the otherhand was a bit reckless, but good in defence.

TBH neither were the abhorrent incidents they were made out to be around here

Diving is pretty normal in football these days.

Pepe's was worse cuz he stamped a guy , but honestly it's blown way out of proportion.

di maria diving for me.. just a disgrace- leave the acting out of football. aggressive heart-on-ones-sleeve football i can handle even though it was dirty.

Quite shocked Di Maria's dive has such a huge margin (although this might be explained by the fact that there are many Madrid fans in the board).

Pepe's tackle was far worse. It was violent and had an aim to injure. Di Maria is an actor but he only hurts himself.

Diving is worse for football. In pretty much any game or sport, it doesn't get worse than cheating and diving is just that.

Reckless or violent plays like Pepe's there are not as bad for football - partly because they happen so seldom - but they are worse for the players as it is their health that is getting risked when someone starts doing the reckless stuff.
