CR was great today, but to say he is more effective than Nani is OTT. He relies on Nani the most to create chances for him. Nani presented him with 2 clear chances v Denmark and he fluffed it, and today he whipped 2 great crosses in which 1) he headed straight at the keeper and 2) He mistimed his jump. And let's not forget his assist.

So what Nani missed that sitter? he is not known to be prolific. He scores a few...but...he also misses a few. His job is to assist, which he does brilliantly for both country and club.

Plus, no way was he flop of the match v Germany when Postiga is on the same pitch.

to each his own.........OPINION, if you don't like it, fine, don't like it, but don't hate on it. and don't hate on Ronaldo because of how fans think of him. everyone entitled to their opinion, but don't come on like a troll and throw negative comments.

Nani is STILL more effective for Portugal than Ronaldo is.

Despite the performance CR cannot be judged after years of flopping and destroying a Dutch defence which was shockingly bad. They left him all the space in the world. Its was mind-boggling

when ronaldo tries to create , which he did against germany only to have players missing , he is called flop or whatever.. when he scores apparently he sits in the box all day waiting for service and overall performance sucks .. LOL

My first point - Do you remember CR making a run down the flank, cutting back across the bi-line and setting Nani up perfectly and Nani NOT finishing a tap-in.
My second point - Ronaldo ran himself ragged last night... He made some of the best runs any player could ever make. Without that, Nani's creativity and passing means nothing. Creating goals is a two-way street. And Ronaldo did his part last night, in addition to scoring goals. He was unlucky not to end up with a hat-trick and an assist or two...

Many players can score Ronaldo's goals. But nobody (except Messi) do.

Getting into goalscoring positions is a skill... it requires pace, and the ability to read the game... It's a skill that the guys mentioned above built their entire illustrious careers upon.
And Ronaldo has pretty much perfected that skill. Without it, Portugal would not be in the European Championship Quarter finals.
