Brilliant gesture from sevilla
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/08062011/58/la-liga-sevilla-insure-fans-lose-jobs.html
Liga giants Sevilla have shown solidarity with their supporters by offering to pay for a season ticket for any regular who loses their job during the next campaign.
Spain is currently suffering from mass unemployment and the Andalucía region of the city of Seville is the worst-affected of all, meaning fans have been worried about buying their season tickets for the 2011/12 season.
However, Sevilla have announced an agreement with the Pont Grup insurance firm whereby any season ticket holder that loses their job during next year's campaign will be giving a free season ticket for the following season.
The policy covers any person in a permanent employment position at the same company for at least a year – so long as they work there at least 30 hours per week.
The offer does not cover the self-employed, those who are fired for disciplinary reasons as opposed to laid off, people on fixed-term temporary contracts or people who take voluntary redundancy.
Sevilla finished fifth in La Liga last season and have finished in the top five for each of the last five seasons.
The club play at the 45,500-capacity Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.

Classy.
I have a question. Is this encouraging unemployment?

Fantastic gesture. This tactic was invented by Hyundai a couple years ago during the peak of the recession.
