Can't agree with this at all. Almost all electronic music is made using software. While all the big time producers can afford spending the 100K for full fledged studios and physical synths, the average producer probably doesn't make enough money to do that. Besides, there are tons of examples of very good music made with just software. Now if you are talking about auto tune related stuff, then yeah, I agree with you.

I wouldn't say "overrated" because a lot of people love them, so I guess it's really just my personal taste, but I have never been able to understand why so many people love Led Zeppelin.

Also, while they are probably the best band ever, The Beatles are still overrated in the sense that even suggesting a band could be better is considered blasphemy by many. No other band, no matter how good, has this level of sacredness.

I'm gonna say Mariah Carey too, since she has won so many awards for her music but I never recognize any of her music that I hear.

I don't really listen to classic rock that much, but that's just what Led Zeppelin are... classic rock and roll! If you listen to classic rock, then I don't see why you wouldn't like Led Zeppelin, because they are synonumous with the genre

Okay, I guess it's harsh to call Michael Jackson overrated only because some people call him the great musical act ever, and I disagree with it. He did make great songs that people that people have been listening to for decades, as well as today. So he does deserve credit.

Anyway, that's what sets the bad/mediocre to great artists apart; how long they have been, and will be, listened to. Thank God no-one is listening to 50 Cent anymore... inb4someonedefends50cent
