Your List for Mr. X, Y, Z
Pretty simple pick up to 10 players you think could be coming. Doesn't have to be 10, I surely don't believe we'll be getting 10 but I'll be posting the 10 most likely IMO.
So begin....... I'll be back to post my 10 in a little while. :study:

Re: Your List for Mr. X, Y, Z
Since that forum is gone, I will have to repeat what I once said out there.
Look, what Milan are doing here are a master's way of doing things.
We're waiting for doors to open up themselves, and by the people on the other side, we don't force our way in like Real and Man City do.
Milan want Kaka, but they won't go to Madrid for negotiation.
Galliani expresses his desire to talk about Kaka whenever he's available, and as soon as Mourinho gives the nod and Perez has the time, the negotiations will begin and guess what? WE GOT THE UPPER HAND!
Our strategy of following almost-rejected-but-nonetheless-top-quality players is wonderful, and we've signed Van Bommel, Cassano, Ibra and Robinho exactly like that.
None were wanted by their clubs anymore and all of them (except for VB) wanted out, so we gave a tiny push and the door opened.
Ganso loves Santos but on the other hand is quite determined to leave for Champions league in a team that offer him a peaceful and familiar atmosphere, obviously i.e. Milan.
This summer, remember you heard it here, Milan are awfully enthusiastic to sign Balotelli for the cheap too, as the guy ain't exactly EPL loving, and is a Milanista.
Then comes Kaka, who's sick and tired of being considered a squaddy, and is dying to return to his home, Milanello.
As for other objectives, Aquilani is homeless now and would be open to Milan move 100%, which other big club have asked for him?
Asamoah and Witsel are ones who lust after big clubs and Milan only need to meet their clubs' demands, the rest will smoothly roll.
Fabregas, too, if Barca opt to go for Rossi and Sanchez would definitely consider Milan his first choice. But boy, is he expensive.
The likes of Hamsik and Pastore are tough nuts, we should act very skillfully to sign them and be ready to splash the cash if the presidents played hardball, but the chances of signing the former are significantly higher.
There I said it.
My hunch is Ganso (either now or in January), Witsel and one between Hamsik and Aquilani will arrive, I might be 200% wrong, but I think that way.

This is so not fair!
Why should Dreamer's avatar be a Milan player while is much more enthusiastic to do the job? Huh? Help me out!
Plus, we got Bonera, we don't need any more monkeys!
As for Mr.Y and Mr.Z, I strongly regret the fact that MilanFan7's avatar could only offer a potential pairing of Miss Y and Miss Z.
But it's always possible to look for other candidates.
For example, is also a very energetic midfielder, should sure consider him too...

Re: Your List for Mr. X, Y, Z
We have been linked with many players in recent weeks, but i do not consider many to be a Mr. X. Montolivo, Aqualani, Poli, Lazzari, Witsel, El Shaarawy, Asomoah and others are good players with potential, but none of them are the monumental signing promised by Berlusconi, nor would any one become a key squad member this year.
As for Ganso and Lamela, we may not be able to sign them in this transfer window.
Hamsik, Fabregas and Pastore are all highly rated, but would be difficult to sign.
Here is my shortlist, comprised of players who I believe would become a key member of the squad if signed:
Gareth Bale
Javier Pastore
Cesc Fabregas
Paulo Henrique
Michael Essien
The player who I really want to see in Milan is Gareth Bale. He would fit in perfectly at LCM, with the pace, stamina, and mentality to get box to box. There is no doubt that a player of his skill set would run rampant in Serie A. Now we just need to convince ol 'arry to let him leave and to fork over the 40 million euros...
Management at Milanello have made it clear that we want a top quality midfielder. Therefore, we will sign a top quality midfielder.

Re: Your List for Mr. X, Y, Z
No Aquilani for me... he's a big team flop.
Anyways, my top priority signings would be: Ganso, Asamoah, and Witsel. These are absolutely imperative signigns if we want to really contest for the Champions League.
Gareth Bale? That guy was a half season wonder... he didn't even last a full season. I mean even Aaron Lennon and Van Der Vaart (who were also linked to at one point) are better options. Bale also isn't a midfielder. He, like Lennon, are wingers...
We will be able to sign Ganso because the rules are changing. But I highly doubt signing Fabregas or Pastore will be any easier. Pastore.... pfft... Zamparini... not a chance in a million years. I think in the Premier League, Nasri would actually be the easiest to sign, but I hear he's going to United... nor do I like him all that much.

Re: Your List for Mr. X, Y, Z
i believe Asamoah should be one of the 3 players to sign but it does seem like Milan have lost interest.
Also does he have an EU-passport? if not, then i've lost interest
1. Ganso
2. Witsel (im not a big fan of him, but as a player who can play just about anywhere in midfield, he can be useful)
3. Lamela
BUT
Lamela should only be signed IF we have the money, 15-17mil would be a good price for a young, versatile attacker.
and some other players
Hamsik: I dont think Milan have given up on him yet, but that deal will be pretty effin hard to complete anyway
El Shaaraway: I said in another thread, he should stay at Genoa for a season and get a good run for them. Develop as a player first.
Fabregas: He wants a Barca move, Barca want him, Wenger accepted that he's leaving and Barca and Fab are meeting next week. Game Over Milan.
Nasri: Wages demand are insanely high, so no

Re: Your List for Mr. X, Y, Z
i definitly think Ganso is joining you guys... it would be a typical Milan signing and he would do very well with you guys.
I think you guys could afford to get a young CB and a young CF too

I think our aim are players that can contend in the Champions League. He, however, is not one of them.

We may have lost interest, but we can transfer him regardless if he's non-EU or not. We could get Zapata, Asamoah, and whoever else in non-EU if they play in Italy. It doesn't count against the non-EU rule.
