Van Persie+Sneijder vs San Marino

Van Marwijk changed tactics a bit and played with RVP behind the striker (Huntelaar) and, to be honest, Sneijder and RVP ran the show.This video is exactly what beautiful football is. The passing here is just out of this world. Sure, its only San Marino, but the vision, flair, movement and passing on display here were out of this world.

Some of the stuff he pulls off in that second video completely blew me away, and this is the second time I'm seeing most of these clips (First time was during the match itself, obviously

He just needs to stay fit, and I believe he can even surpass Bergkamp. I already believe he has the potential to be better, and I'm a big Bergkamp fan. He's a Bergkamp but with more flair

Nah, I had only finished watching a bit of the second video before posting it, so when I finished I just gave my opinion haha. This thread does seem headed to that dreaded monster though

did you read the thread? this thread is about how Van Marwijk changed tactics to make Holland look more fluid. regardless of the opposition. germany was already a fantastic fluid team, but holland at the world cup played like stoke at times.

It doesn't matter. She just has to shove Germany into any topic, regardless of what it is. If its completely unrelated to Germany, then saying Podolski is God seems to do the trick for her

I was supporting Netherlands in the WC, and sometimes the football did let me down. It was a mixture of Stoke and Blackburn all thrown into one. This set-up is much more fluid, but it still needs to be tested against tougher opposition. San Marino, created pretty much 0 chances. Offensively, this seems better and utilizes players better imo, but it still needs to be tested defensively
