Gerrard and Everton
i have read Gerard my autography, and he says that he was not necessarily everton fan but his uncle was a huge everton fan and one day made him pose on cam with everton shirt on...
i read hus autobiography quite a while ago, so plz correct me if i am wrong.
ps. liverpool fans ... read Gerrrard my autobiography.. its pretty interesting... stevie tells about his life... childhood... how he used to paly football with his neighbours, his father being a great inspiration and helping him on his effort on his career his childhood. how he was so happy getting signed up by liverpool. also his experiences during early days in liverpool reserves ... how he fared wtih robbie fowler and ian rush in dressing room, and his call up in england national team for the first time, and how he really admired michael owen, and his times at national team that even though he had to train with rivals such as scholes, ferdinand beck, he really admired how hard they work on pitch. he mentions michael owen his good friends back then, in early days and with jonathan woodgate in national team ... and kevin keegan as his manager in national team and gerard houllier. also his special experiences in CL final against milan, and how close he came leaving liverpool for chelsea.
I haven't been able to find that book in Canadian major bookstores (Chapters Indigo)..but I am trying to buy it online, should be a great read. There is another auto-biography I bought and read quite few times...it looked something like:
rest assured u will love stevie even more after reading that... the first few chapter got me especially stevie saying... I play for John Paul. oh u can get it easily in amazon
lol, @ torres biography ... i will have read if i get time should be fun...

Oh OK. I recently saw a pic of him as youngster with a United shirt on so I just assumed he was. I'll take your word for it though.

Bergkamp wasnt a Spurs fan .
"People often assume I'm a Spurs fan but it's not true. I was a fan of Glenn Hoddle, not of Spurs."

Wilshere was a Hammer fan
to add to the list , Micah was an Arsenal fan .
My mistake then.

Skip to 4:02 he says that every fan around that area was an Atletico Madrid fan and Raul was no expection, and the guy goes on how he is through and through an Atletico Madrid fan.

Maybe it would have been smarter to swap it the other way around then, seeing they all have the Arsenal DNA.

Re: Teams Players Grew Up Supporting
Burnt Torres' book. What a wanker. ._.
Anyway.
Macca, Stevie, Jamie, God and Owen all supported Everton.
Gerrard also flirted with Manc United. He had trials with them when he was young.
Suarez apparently supported Liverpool when he was young.
The one in Uruguay though.

Wow, those made me chuckle.
Really Maldini was a Juventus fan? I suppose he is not anymore, same with Galliani, Owen (Everton!!) or John Terry who has been all his life at Chelsea!

Arsenal fan.
Hahaha, yeah, Cesc when was a kid was an arsenal fan, Cesc at 14:
2:27: "Whenever I can, I go to the Camp Nou, cause I am a barça fan I feel a barça fan".
Not saying he isn't also an Arsenal fan now, but to deny he is a Barça fan is idiotic Ali.
I very much doubt Henry was an Arsenal fan when he was a kid too.

That, I agree completely, but it's quite different as the first thing you posted that seem to imply he was no Barça fan.

No, he moved to us when he was 14. If that isn't spending all his career at Chelsea then I don't know what is.
