To be fair, Venezuela marked Chile out of the game in the 1st half and played it very intelligently in the second half not to concede any stupid fouls

With Jimenez playing the 10 role, creativity is zilch and we rely on Isla + Sanchez combo to make the plays.

Although messi failed to score, Messi had a good tournment in my opinion, setting up Higuain's goal with a clever run and delightfully chipped assist and creating at least 3 other solid chances, other games he also had assists to aguero and tevez whom failed to convert. there was a fan banner in that last game which read
"Messi, forgive them for they know not what they do "

For brazil id say maicon just because i dont anyone else deserving a shout out

I was expecting more from Neymar and Messi.

Not sure who you're referring to about the diva part but yes Higuain looked excellent, his movement was top notch as you would expect from him and he was doing alot of pressing, second best Argentina player for me.

Colombia- Yepes
