this comparison was actually quite close upto a point, lot of benzema worship among madridstas but he was shit for a long time at madrid till he sorted himself out.. of course the comparison seems silly now.. hindsight..

Well they are completely different player. Relatiely Speaking, Pedro is better at what he does than Benzema. Would Benzema have started for the Barcelona team last year? No chance in hell.

But now he will be a starter if he goes to barca.

I disagree, he struggled not because of tactics but because of maturity. I would say this. If Pep can force Cesc into that line up, he could make room for benzema, but i dont think it's ideal for either party.

as far as the head to head match up goes, Benzema is certainly a better overall footballer, who has enough talent to spearhead the whole attack of a single team. Pedro is too much of a specialist in my opinion.

No chance. Benzema isn't better than Villa, he isn't better than Ibra nor is he better than Henry. Once agian, Barcelona is the hardest team for any player to adapt to. Benzema will not be starting over people that have been playing in that system since they were teenagers. No chance. Pedro is specialised for what Barcelona need. Benzema would be on the bench.

How Pedro, A CL winner and a WC winner is being this underrated is beyond me. The guy is possibly the 2nd best finisher in Barcelona, actually Guardiola said he was the best in an interview, and Benzema, a guy that has done nothing bar Ligue 1 would walk into a team that requires years to adapt to properly?

TBH this arguement has digressed a bit, I think Benzema is a better player, but Pedro suits Barcelona far better tbh. Benzema in this form would not have made it into Barcelonas starting 11 last season.

This is just a comparison of two players and i dont understand why this has turned into who suits which system better or in this case Barca's ssytem..
