well, the debate isnt really about who is better fit for Barca, is it? no one cares.

Is pedro a better player than Benzema? The answer is simply no.

He is a glorified poacher..Benzema is far better.

Besides, they are differnet players. If I wanted a wide player, I would pick Pedro. If I wanted a Striker, I would pick Benzema.

How Pedro, A CL winner and a WC winner is being this underrated is beyond me. The guy is possibly the 2nd best finisher in Barcelona, actually Guardiola said he was the best in an interview, and Benzema, a guy that has done nothing bar Ligue 1 would walk into a team that requires years to adapt to properly?

Benzema might be a 'better' player in a conventional sense, but Barcelona are not conventional. it's like telling me Ronaldo would start for Barca. No chance in hell as well. He wouldn't make their bench.

Barcelona needs a forward. actually a player who can create, press, score and play on the wings. Benzema is the best option out there. better than Villa, Pedro and Ibra for that Position. the Position that Alexis is playing atm. or sometimes Cesc.

often people fail to acknowledge the quality of madrid players.. somehow cabaye and modric are better than alonso, ozil becomes overrated, marcelop becomes a crap player , ronaldo fluctuates between tap in master to penaldo and big match flop, iker is called overrated or whatever, people blatantly fail to acknowledge ramos's performances this season and instead accuse madrid fans of exaggerating his quality

What makes Alonso better than Modric btw? Just curious?

No one underrates MAdrid ffs, as a team they are the second best Unit in Europe and are 7 points clear of Barcelona ffs. Anyone that undderates them shouldn't be taken seriously IMO. Cabaye? ROFL? I'm a United supporter, but even I'm not that stupid, my EPL fanboyism died in 94 when we were embarraased in Europe.

Ramos has been decent but he makes too many little mistakes, theres no surprise Masdrid are always fgoing behind first. Alonso is great but I never thought he was incredible at liverpool and I don't thionk he's any better now he's at Madrid. Ronaldo is a great player and the added work ethic he has added has made him a much better player, the tap in nonsense and Penaldo is BS as Messi has failed with penalties massively this season.

All in all I hope Real beat Barcelona this season as United have handed them 2 cls and they prevented us from retaining the CL. Admittedly I used to prefer Barcelona to MAdrid in the early 90s because I felt that we had more in common with them. We were both in the shadow of our biggest rivals (Pool and Madrid), We had little European Successs. Pluss I was always a fan of the Ajax model. But that feeling of brotherhood has evaporated since they surpassed us in number of CLs.

This is a load of crap there, trying to blame us going behind lately (which has now become "always") on Ramos, bunch of BS there. Ramos hasnt been decent this season for us, he has been excellent at CB.

If you want to talk about defending you have to involve everyone and do a much better analysis of our discipline and concentration since the beginning of he year which has fluctuated. Dont blame the whole ting on a single player like he is always making mistakes.

just last week against Zaragoza, Pepe was at fault on the first goal, not Ramos.

Calm down broseph. I meant RMs defence as a unit not Ramos, but Ramos does make little mistakes here and there but he has been a decent CB. Unfortunately he seems to fall apart anytime Madrid play Barca, not unlike Vidic used to be with pool, and our entire Unit vs Barca so I guess that's a moot point. He certaoinly has the ability but he has suspect concentration.

On topic: Jibers.....tha made no sense.....as someone said Sanchez starts for Barca....Ibra started....etc etc.The system is not hard to learn if your natural game is perfectly suited to it.
