It's really an interesting table. I just wonder if it is actually good or bad if a player is involved in more than, say, two thirds of the goals of his team.

Plus I wonder if this says more about the player or about the coach who allows a team to be very one-sidedly geared toward one player.

After all, there are two sides to the medal if one player virtually overwhelms the rest of the team.

Well, sorry, my fault. Somehow I don't have the 1994 matches really present - I sort of suppressed the memories of that World Cup due to how badly Germany played there

It's more about how good the team is without them, or the overall quality. Pele wouldn't won it without an amazing team, Maradona wouldn't won it without Valdano and Burrachaga and so on, if Messi had Di Maria in the final he would probably won it. Teams win titles, players only provide the individual quality.

Pele and Maradona, both provided the same importance but Pele won a lot more, why? Because the quality of the team he had was much higher.

Currently Yann Sommer has the best save percentage in the Bundesliga (89.7%) of all goalkeepers who played at least half the matches in this season. Moreover, he also had the biggest absolute number of saves with 26.
