I think its a huge mistake, we don't need him and Barcelona have a budget of 40-45 million this summer.

I like the idea that it was for straight up cash and Thiago wasn't involved in the deal. Also like that this long, drawn out saga is over. I like that Cesc is finally home. I don't like the idea of him taking time away from Thiago on the pitch.

Ps : How do Arsenal fans feel? If Cesc, Clichy, potentially Nasri, Bentner and Denilson all leave....will Gunner's still be a solid contender for top 4 spot? I feel, that no Cesc = Europa League for Gunners (just my opinion). Cheslea, Man U will still be top players. City is only improving and steadily trying to buy a championship. Liverpool looked terrific 2nd half last season, plus they are in the market to add even more pieces. Even Spurs are regurlaly linked with trying to add more fire power and already have a solid mid. Yet Arsenal seem to have more rumors of guys leaving than quality pieces coming in to replace them (lets be real, Benzima isn't going to Arsenal. Wenger doesnt like paying that much for a striker, which is not the area that needs help). Thoughts?

One of the stupidest moves we could make right now.

Our midfield is stacked already. Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Masch, Thiago, Keita, Afellay all fighting for three spots. Where on earth would Cesc fit in? There's no way each of them would get adequate playing time.

Xavi can go on for a few years, Thiago has shown immense promise. And while Cesc is a brilliant player he still wouldn't displace any of our three starters in the crunch matches.

Basically 40M wasted on a player we don't necessarily need right now. Sure, I'd love for him to play for us one day but we don't need him right now. It'd be better for all parties concerned if he stayed at Arsenal.

i'd like a cesc for messi swap....

If you score a goal/change sides they get the ball.. Center ball.. So 100% is impossible.
