I don't like the idea of Vargas . 1 yr ago I'd be goin nuts for us to sign him However now it's not the best move. 28, fatigued, 15m . He will tire in the season cause of the copa. Wev seen this already with Suarez from Liverpool. He seems exhausted

The biggest problem is see with Vargas is our attack becoming too onedimentional with Krasic on the other side.

Thats why Elia suddenly was higher on the priority list than Bastos and Vargas.

My guess is that we wont se either Vargas or Bastos. (if Conte gets what he prefers..)

vargas is definetly not a martinez 2.0, while is true he didnt do squat last year, he was mainly injured. if he comes i would gladly welcome him.
